Title: Wimbledon v Swindon MoM Thread Post by: Nemo on Saturday, December 9, 2023, 17:05:20 Not very good, but a contender or two. Lots of freeloaders today though.
Title: Re: Wimbledon v Swindon MoM Thread Post by: Mooneyraker on Saturday, December 9, 2023, 17:18:28 Mahoney for dishing out the bollockings.
Trying to choose an outfield player is like asking if you prefer Fred or Rose West. Title: Re: Wimbledon v Swindon MoM Thread Post by: Nemo on Saturday, December 9, 2023, 17:31:32 Eh, Kokolo and Austin did okay. FBT some good some bad. Not strong cases but better than most did today. Ultimately you're looking for a 6/10 in a sea of 4 or lowers.
Title: Re: Wimbledon v Swindon MoM Thread Post by: adje on Saturday, December 9, 2023, 17:53:41 UGM for me. 5/10 everyone else 4 or less
Title: Re: Wimbledon v Swindon MoM Thread Post by: Nomoreheroes on Saturday, December 9, 2023, 18:08:48 Kokolo looked our best outfield player (until making 2 balls ups in 10 seconds that nearly cost us a goal).
Austin won the odd ball in midfield. Mahoney saved a couple of shots. The was the extend of our positives. At most, I'd give them 6/10. The others would range from 2-4. Does that deserve a MotM vote? P.S. Could go for Genesini, as he finally did something that enabled him to get on the pitch! (Where he incidentally did nothing!!) Title: Re: Wimbledon v Swindon MoM Thread Post by: Dr Pierre Chang on Saturday, December 9, 2023, 22:21:02 fuck this vote! Yeah, for the first time this season I genuinely can’t think of anyone even remotely worthy of mention.Plenty of contenders for our worse performance. I don’t think I’ve seen FBT have a poorer first half than that (until the change anyway!) - UGM not far behind in the shitness stakes! Title: Re: Wimbledon v Swindon MoM Thread Post by: Nomoreheroes on Saturday, December 9, 2023, 22:33:20 Must admit, I felt sorry for Minturn getting sacrificed. He looked well pissed off. I would have been too as UGM and FBT were worse than him!

Title: Re: Wimbledon v Swindon MoM Thread Post by: Nemo on Sunday, December 10, 2023, 09:01:47 This has been quite common all season hasn't it? Well, yes, although in most games you could at least say that FBT/UGM have been good going forward even if they were shaky at the back. Not sure you could even say that yesterday. Title: Re: Wimbledon v Swindon MoM Thread Post by: Nemo on Sunday, December 10, 2023, 09:04:13 But you could also say why would you vote attacking players when we didn’t score, or create? Yeah I get that. From my perspective, the only time we clearly improved in the game is when Austin came on. Young ran his bollocks off, even if he didn't really get a sniff. Kemp was quieter than usual, but had a couple of moments. It's thin gruel, but I don't get voting for the CBs at least. The latter’s form has really suffered. Looks a shell of his former self. Particularly humiliating seeing as Young is a distant 4th at the moment. Kemp is top, but Mahoney and Brewitt are both within 10 votes, so it would take some serious collapse to not overtake him! |
