Title: Salford v Swindon MoM Thread Post by: Nemo on Saturday, October 21, 2023, 16:03:18 Decent point, should have been more but we can't see a game out. At least the third away game that's happened in this season.

Title: Re: Salford v Swindon MoM Thread Post by: Mooneyraker on Saturday, October 21, 2023, 16:04:12 Kemp looked likely to make things happen every time. My MOTM.
Title: Re: Salford v Swindon MoM Thread Post by: Peter Venkman on Saturday, October 21, 2023, 16:10:30 Kemp, Dokes and Shade all did well for me. Minto did well as well up against a really tough opponent in Smith.
Title: Re: Salford v Swindon MoM Thread Post by: RobertT on Saturday, October 21, 2023, 16:11:26 Kemp - deserved a bit from the game than he managed, which was still pretty good. Nobody really stood out though, it was, for the most part, just a controlled performance. It does irritate me that we waste all that by being so easy to waltz through when a team puts their foot down.

Kemp prob. deserved MOM. But the outfielders must dominate 10 men for 10 minutes to secure a result. Harsh on Brewitt and Minturn but I'm giving none of them my precious vote. Murphy Mahoney. Classy and blameless. Title: Re: Salford v Swindon MoM Thread Post by: Nomoreheroes on Saturday, October 21, 2023, 16:29:16 Thought Minturn handled Smith better than FBT and Brewitt had. So I'll be first to plump for him!
Shade is improving. Had a 7 or 8 out of 10 game for me. McEachran and Khan were solid if unspectacular. Although our formation makes the midfield look weak, with massive holes everywhere! Title: Re: Salford v Swindon MoM Thread Post by: oxonrobin on Saturday, October 21, 2023, 16:29:52 Went with Khan just, didn’t think anyone was top of their game, nor was anyone that bad. (Kinsella not on long enough to judge properly, and not his fault we decided to drop to 6-yard box in defence).
Title: Re: Salford v Swindon MoM Thread Post by: Audrey on Saturday, October 21, 2023, 16:37:53 Went for Minturn - even though he only played the majority of the 2nd half. Had the experienced Smith in his pocket, 2 or 3 great tackles for such a novice. I’d have no worries about him starting Tuesday.
Flynn has got to look at his sub decisions - they tend to make us weaker. Title: Re: Salford v Swindon MoM Thread Post by: Boeta on Saturday, October 21, 2023, 17:00:01 Shade is improving. Had a 7 or 8 out of 10 game for me. Both goals conceded went through Shade. Yes he is improving going forward, but he's cost us the game. If we had a top 6 level left wing back, we'd be top of the league. Title: Re: Salford v Swindon MoM Thread Post by: TheDukeOfBanbury on Saturday, October 21, 2023, 18:25:20 No stand out performer today.
For finding space and creating going for Kemp. Khan close second. |
