Title: League 2 - 2023/24 (fixtures)
Post by: 4D on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, 10:06:14
Bored waiting for the season to start.
Fixtures released on 22.06.23. Who do you want first game, home or away?

Dongs away for me, as I'll go to that.

What date are the first games of the season, they often coincide with us being away on holiday so I suspect as usual that Barrow/Morecambe/Accrington (A) will pop up in the first few!

Honestly don't care. If things miraculously work out I hope to go on holiday that week!

(5th august I believe)

Unless we get Wrexham first up when it’ll sure to be on Sky Friday evening!

Always like to go to the first game so hoping it won’t be Barrow or Harrogate again.

At least it won’t be Carlisle this time.

Obviously a home game would be good, if not somewhere not too far away

I have a feeling we will be away at Notts County 1st game.

I have a feeling we will be away at Notts County 1st game.

Ooh, that's another good away game to consider.

Which means we'll get Colchester away or Barrow at home

Notts County away would be good and Morecambe via Blackpool a good away weekender.

Please not Bradford midweek home and away...what a load of bollocks that was!

I quite like a Liverpool night out as well, Tranmere not being on a Tuesday night in Feb or March or whatever shite we usually get. Saturday in the sun please.

A friend of mine has rather selfishly decided to get married on the 14th of October so I'm hoping for a game that might be chosen for TV either side of that Saturday.

We did have 3 seasons of consecutive home games from 2014/15, so while I agree it’s likely to be at home it’s not guaranteed

Just noticed this is an international weekend so someone with players on duty enforcing a postponement would also be good.

That was a good guess

In an absolute coincidence, this happens to be the weekend of Wrexham vs Salford!
