Title: Swindon v Stockport MoM Thread Post by: Nemo on Saturday, March 25, 2023, 18:06:34 I've not seen the game yet, but I'm going to go ahead and guess it's not Jacob Wakeling on this occasion...
Title: Re: Swindon v Stockport MoM Thread Post by: Batch on Saturday, March 25, 2023, 18:29:56 he only put one foot wrong...
on this occasion the sponsors got the vote right - FBT all day long Title: Re: Swindon v Stockport MoM Thread Post by: Mooneyraker on Saturday, March 25, 2023, 19:02:09 Love FBT but going for Brewitt, as FBT should have known better with the free kick that sunk us.
Brewitt looks v solid and always looks to play forward. Honourable mentions for JW and RHM Title: Re: Swindon v Stockport MoM Thread Post by: Boeta on Saturday, March 25, 2023, 19:11:04 Don't see how you can vote FBT when it was his f up that cost is the match
Title: Re: Swindon v Stockport MoM Thread Post by: 4D on Saturday, March 25, 2023, 19:12:02 I'm going to vote for who had the most shots.
Title: Re: Swindon v Stockport MoM Thread Post by: Jimmy Quinn on Saturday, March 25, 2023, 19:19:10 I'm going for whoever took the corner😀

The free kick was brain dead. totally. But he didn't exactly kick it straight to their forward. But who left their man to power away. Shocking set up. Title: Re: Swindon v Stockport MoM Thread Post by: Nomoreheroes on Saturday, March 25, 2023, 20:59:26 Hockaday gave it to Khan. Not sure I agree.
FBT was playing everywhere. Not sure whether he was supposed to be doing so. I thought Brewitt looked good too. The others ‘tried’ but there’s no quality there. Title: Re: Swindon v Stockport MoM Thread Post by: Nemo on Saturday, March 25, 2023, 21:30:21 In mildly interesting news, PotS so far is now tied on 202 votes each between Khan & FBT. Brynn & Williams both within 10% of that, then a fair gap.

Brynn & Williams both within 10% of that, then a fair gap. So my vote, which I haven’t given yet, could be pivotal! So, if Mr Khan or FBT are on here, how much for me to vote for you? Title: Re: Swindon v Stockport MoM Thread Post by: Nemo on Saturday, March 25, 2023, 21:55:49 Amazed Williams is that close, he’s been pretty useless since the World Cup. For context, the next closest is Gladwin and he left the club two months ago. It has... not been a vintage few months. Title: Re: Swindon v Stockport MoM Thread Post by: RedRag on Saturday, March 25, 2023, 23:10:15 Amazed Williams is that close, he’s been pretty useless since the World Cup. He was my pick today. Obv. less time on the ball than usual but didn't waste it and was everywhere harrying and making himself available, even winning 1 or 2 headers in the 1st half. Played a big part in keeping it at 0-0.Having FBT back was a massive plus too. Title: Re: Swindon v Stockport MoM Thread Post by: DV on Sunday, March 26, 2023, 07:15:53 Brynn saved a penalty - so that was probably the main positive contribution from any of our players.
Title: Re: Swindon v Stockport MoM Thread Post by: Mooneyraker on Sunday, March 26, 2023, 12:42:43 Brynn's second half goal kicks were woeful. We had to make more of those with 10 men. Even send them out high up the pitch for a throw and hope to press the throw in.
Title: Re: Swindon v Stockport MoM Thread Post by: Peter Venkman on Sunday, March 26, 2023, 13:53:47 FBT by a country mile, would have been Brynn if it wasnt for his awful kicking all game.

Not constantly. But enough Definitely something he can work on. Title: Re: Swindon v Stockport MoM Thread Post by: Nemo on Sunday, March 26, 2023, 16:11:39 Thought people might be interested in the numbers over the last ten games (since Newport A / the end of the transfer window) alone:
George McEachran 93 (8 apps) FBT 72 (5 apps) Charlie Austin 51 (10 apps, 90% of votes in one game) RHM 44 (7 apps) Tom Brewitt 32 (4 apps) Jonny Williams 32 (8 apps) Then selected lower scorers: Jacob Wakeling & Tom Clayton 16 (10 apps each) Sol Brynn 9 (10 apps) Remeao Hutton 5 (10 apps) All others pretty low too. |
