Title: Swindon v The Ashes
Post by: sonicyouth on Thursday, September 8, 2005, 15:48:23
right.

hypothetical question entirely, but if we looked set to clinch an Ashes victory on Saturday afternoon whilst we were playing Southend - would you be tempted to stay at home/in the pub and watch the cricket?

I'd never miss a Swindon game for an England (or Ireland) game but The Ashes...?

Swindon v Southend would still edge it.

Id be tempted to go for the ashes, seen as the last 3 football games I watched I predicted the score correctly each time, all 1-0 defeats with 4-5-1!!!
