Came across the scar scene in Jaws on YouTube the other day, then it dawned on me how many scars I have. Six in total. Anyone else as battle weary as me?  :)

Not a scar, but a fake tooth after being mugged.

I have a 3 inch one on my leg where I was stabbed...long story.

A large one on my buttock about 4 inches long from a removed polinoidal abcess many years back.

A 20 inch long scar with the full 20 stitch scars all the way up by belly from a previous huge operation for a hiatus hernia with full rib cage breakage back in 1991.

A 2 inch long scar on the arch of my foot where I stood on a broken bottle when I was 16 and had 4 stiches in.

Otherwise head/face and hands/arms have about 15 or so under an inch in size.

Call me Al Capone!

Only the internal scars of the emotional torment of being a Swindon Town fan.

one. on my chin. luckily it doesn't affect my *cough* good looks.

it happened when I was three. walking next to the pushchair that was fully loaded with washing going to the launderette. tripped on placement, pushchair break went into the chin...

oh wait, 2. little finger. dislocated playing Street hockey in gateways carpark in ciren. joint bent the wrong way. Bit embarrassing given I was in my 20s

*sighs* the biggest of all that we carry. :)

Stomach - hernia op

Forehead - drunken accident, play fighting and knocked myself out by falling into a wooden menu board that was hanging up on the well :Ride On Fatbury's Lovestick:

Leg - slid shin first on a wet floor into a freezer

Foot - stud mark which the other bloke got sent off for stamping

Inch long scar under my eye from a stud ripping it open and needing stitches, same on my right knee about a 2 inch scar again from a stud ripping it open.
On my left knee scar from knee surgery due to a football injury.

Moral of the story, playing football is bad for you!

That suggests you were searching for some very specialist material on the tube

I've got a 2-3 inch scar on the top of my head from when I cracked my head as a kid in the County Ground play park. I ended up going into the County Ground Hotel and was given a wet bar towel to put on my head to mop up the blood while I waited for an ambulance.

It's pretty visible unfortunately as I have no hair.

Least the ambulance didn't have far to come.....

Ha, I have one on my forehead and one on my stomach from hernia op. That's a 6 inch scar. 3 to 4 inch scar on my shoulder from op to reattach my arm bone, and the rest are on my legs.

You forgot to mention the one across your chest. Mary Ellen Moffat. She broke your heart  💔

Did the original tooth have a good filling?

Never had an op, but have counted 7, mostly holiday/drinking arseing around injuries

I can echo that. 2 scars on my left leg/knee where I had cruciate ligaments surgery. Plus one scar above my heel on my left and right legs where I tore my Achilles tendi.

Football definitely is bad for you!!

Small one above my left knee from stacking it on my bicycle as a kid, mostly faded now.

Almost invisible 1/2" one near my nuts from an inguinal hernia repair just over 10 years ago.

And a 2cm one on top of my foot, broke a metatarsal chasing a kitten up some stairs and it needed pinning.
