Title: Pub advice -Bristol Post by: Not that Nice If I'm Honest on Wednesday, January 18, 2017, 18:39:45 We're going to watch Glos V Bristol at rugby on Friday 24th March, and then Swindon V Millwall on Saturday on the way home. So We'll be staying over in Bristol. I've never had a night out in Bristol, so hopefully someone can help me. What's the best part of town to drink in ? Is there a "pub Quarter" or anything ? Prefer proper beer pubs Somewhere between Temple Meads and Ashton Gate preferably. The Strawberry Thief close to Corn Street if you like wheat beers and real ale

Title: Re: Pub advice -Bristol Post by: Sippo on Wednesday, January 18, 2017, 20:47:07 King street. Start at the Apple boat for an old Bristolian then head downwards. Loads of pubs- I mean proper old pubs, as well as some good craft places.
Avoid corn street as this is chav central. Title: Re: Pub advice -Bristol Post by: WEBBERhyde on Wednesday, January 18, 2017, 20:58:05 The Old Duke is a must if you're at the Apple / King street

Just street-viewed King Street, and it's exactly what we are after. Looks like they'll do my staples of Real Ale, Craft IPA, and a good wheat beer Decision made, cheers. Title: Re: Pub advice -Bristol Post by: REDBUCK on Wednesday, January 18, 2017, 21:08:17 Try these -
