Title: I was chatting to a Derby fan
Post by: DMR on Monday, January 3, 2005, 14:19:33
He reckons that Holmes- out of contract in June apparantly- hasn't been offered a new deal yet due to the emergence of Marco Reich (?)

Buy back deal in a couple of years is a deal their gaffer has used before...

He's loving it here! He may feel that first time football now will benefit him being a top playing in the long run. Marco Reich ex Bayern Leverkusen i beileve? Surely if his contracts out in summer we can offer now?

Blinkpip, Ifil has a buy back clause

You're living in a dream world boys.

1) Derby fans and staff think he is the best thing since sliced bread
2) Most clubs only start offering contracts in March/April once they have a fair idea of what division they will be in the next season
3) There would be a massive compensation fee if we were to sign him

I seriously doubt it but it woud be brilliant to sign him.
