There should be absolutely minimal performance difference between 7, 8(.1) and 10. Title: Re: Removing windows 10 Post by: Batch on Tuesday, July 5, 2016, 19:24:28 Sounds like a crap update/driver issue/something, windows 10 itself is great when it runs OK.
Yeah not helping, but I've never met anyone who likes Windows 8 Title: Re: Removing windows 10 Post by: suttonred on Tuesday, July 5, 2016, 20:10:58 What the fuck were you running before, Windows 95? There should be absolutely minimal performance difference between 7, 8(.1) and 10. New pc came with 8, that was horrible so upgraded, wished I hadn't. Got 7 on my laptop with 4gb less ram and it runs great. 7 is what it will stay on until it dies. Run Malwarebyes and Superantispyware, both free. Make sure all drivers are up to date and that you have the correct graphics driver which will cause this problem with the standard VGA driver rather than the correct one. Windows 10 beats 8 on usability hands down if its set up right and is much faster than 7 or 8 in almost every situation.
