Just gone midnight here where I had a privileged view of the fireworks going off over central Bangkok from my balcony. FUCK YEAH!

Before kids I would have been out or do something 'fun'. Tonight, I'll probably be in bed by 10. Naff all on tv.

Probably order a curry, but not sure when to order it. Want to eat about half 7ish.

I could have gone out tonight but didn't fancy it. It'll be way too busy which I'm never keen on and the money I would have spent is really needed for much more important things. We treated ourselves to pizza and some good beer though.

Being dragged out - in a furking suit and tie, no less - to spend 6 hours in a pub in Wroughton .

What's everyone doing tonight then? I'm visiting friends locally for what will be a fairly tame affair i expect but i'm not up for mega parties anyway. My teenager is babysitting, my little - un,  which is most generous on this night and gives me an extremely rare night out with the missus..

Im with friends in somewhere in northern ish scotchland going to drink ales and whisky's until midnight.  Went to Aviemore today.  Looked at mountains and that sort of thing.  Lovely.

I'm at work until 7 and then going to Covent Garden for a meal.

Will be just like every other night, except I'm expecting lots of fireworks going off for an hour or so outside. :(

Over the village social club shortly, then a curry, few cans, and probably some drunken drivel on here later. Must be old cant imagine being in a pub/club for hours with incessant noise now.

Just had a stroll along the beach. Now sat in front of a roaring fire. Few cans and a curry(just ordered) then hopefully asleep by 11pm.

Found myself, drank whisky, woke up couldn't read the address. Lost again.

Successful trip then.

Not really planned much myself. Just got back from a few late afternoon pints with the regulars. Gonna chill with my sickly girlfriend and have some pizza back at the flat, then might head back out for the late night friends who are about.

Can't do the 4-4 12 hour in the pub anymore. Well I can. And would. And it would be awesomely messy. But a bit 'post-xmas' skint. So I can't.
