Title: Aliens
Post by: Samdy Gray on Thursday, October 15, 2015, 08:41:06
No, really. It's possible that an advanced civilisation has built a Dyson sphere of sorts. That or a very improbable collection of comets.

1500 light years away, so we won't be speaking to them any time soon. Fantastic discovery though.

They could have spent the last 1500 years travelling here. Probably turn around once they see how shite we are.

I saw this, and thought bollocks.  There's a lot of weird shit in the universe, or universes....of which we know a piddling amount. Aliens doesn't have to be the answer.

SETI is an interesting thing though....well sort of, there's a prog on I-player atm about it.

It's not a hoover it's a vacuum cleaner. Hoover is a brand!

The word hoover has entered the English language....in the same way the word google has, despite being a brand.
