That could change a few things in football, not even sure whether it's a good or a bad thing tbh. I suspect we wouldn't do well out of it

Great for lawyers though.

If clubs no longer have to pay transfer fees I presume that money would go into paying the poor little darlings even more mullah. They also share all the profits of the league equally... buy a Patriots shirt and all the teams benefit... Quite an amazing situation for a capitalist country. The Draft involves the shit teams getting first pick of the College players - they can also trade their pick with better teams to get experienced players. Essentially means no one team can dominate for long and no team should forever be useless (although Jacksonville appear to be an anomaly!). If Transfer fees were abolished mayhem would ensue because we couldn't do what the NFL does unless all countries signed up to a highly complex process. When I went to San Francisco some years ago we went to a GS game. They were gash but I think won the match. The half time and time out entertainment was often more entertaining than the game, American sports bore me in general.
