Title: Shoreham airport
Post by: Leggett on Saturday, August 22, 2015, 13:24:32
Nasty business, a Hawker Hunter jet has crashed while displaying, seems it's come down on or near the A27.  :(

Just didn't seem to pull out the bottom of the loop. Horrible. Can't see there being anthing other than multiple fatalities :(

I was expecting the usual gloomy explosion beyond some woods. Sadly, you see the plane wipe out the road.

Grim.

I live here in shoreham. I'm gobsmacked not more have died. Lots of people watch the show along the river adur and by the Sussex pad traffic lights where the plane landed. It's wierd  here at the moment. Very subdued. Lots of helicopters flying over the crash site which I can see from my balcony.

Wow - that was emotional and incredibly sad but at the same time it was fantastic. They could not have done that any better.
