For me I was standing at the back of the exit ready to make the dash at the final whistle to catch my train.
Saw the ball through crowded hands and heads daisy cutting across the pitch and an outstretched hand of the keeper.
Just saw the ball ripple the back of the net.
Then jumped around like a maniac forgetting I have a prolapsed disc in my back.
Looked behind to see Sheffield United fans outside being pushed along by the Coppers knowing that Swindon had just scored.
Mental scenes looking both ways celebrating the goal with our fans, then looking back taunting the Blades fans.
Then texting my Swindon mate who was on business in Turkey who sadly missed the game.
I was shaking and couldn't send the text :)

Just sheer joy. :cry: :pint:........one to always remember.

My son is at Uni in Sheffield & took two of his flat mates.
The other game they went to with him this season was Doncaster away.
Another 2-1 win with an injury time winner.

They think all Town games are like that :D

Just finished draining my 6th San Miguel in The Merlin and things went up!

Watched at my mates house and his Mrs had just put their 6 month old baby to sleep, who had warned us two minutes earlier to keep the noise down. We did the strangest, quietest, running around and jumping about in his living room possible.

the Mrs was upstairs in a strop because apparently kicking the sofa when gladwin missed the penalty "wasn't setting the children a good example" and telling her to sod off didn't help.

so I celebrated in a whispered "get the fuck in" while running up and down the hallway.

this thread makes me a little uncomfortable, we are celebrating half time. but under the circumstances it's understandable, right?

Happier that we ended the 45 year losing streak.

Think as fans we're allowed to do that.....but the players, shouldn't get too carried away, as it's half-time, and that's a game where we could easily have shipped a few, because it's what we do. So can happen on Monday, unless we play well.

It's a win for the first time in 45 years at the ground of an historically big club.

It reaffirms to us, the fans, that the team many thought had terminally gone off the boil can and did produce the goods when it mattered.

Cooper got it right with his strategy, his team selection and the resting of players.

I went mental as the rest of you.

I was bouncing around jumping around balancing on the backs of the chairs. Properly shinned myself on the chair in front at the end, too.

It probably blows Flint's goal at Brentford out of the water.

Only thing that stopped it, was the stewards had it more under control so people weren't bundling on to the pitch so easy. That and it was a Thursday so the intoxication levels weren't the same.

I was in the BA lounge at Tampa airport watching it on sky go. Gave the old boy sat next to me a fright when I jumped up cheering. Lots of strange looks from everyone. Celebrated by getting pissed in there and on the flight home.  :pint:

cursing that my Now TV thread had decided to freeze in injury time just as we were under pressure facing a corner, checking the TEF and going mental to see we had scored and then intensifying my anger at Now TV making me miss the goal - all whilst being deliriously happy

Outside the back of the stand I had just left as the last train was 10:02 punched the air then realised I was surrounded by Norfern Monkeys who were not too pleased

I was trying to be quiet in the conservatory but still managed to wake the whole house up by jumping off the sofa and shouting "yeeeessss" - followed by some dad dancing.

I was in the polling station, queueing and keeping up on BBC text updates.

I was in no way guilty of such a thing. I think I may have piled on a couple of pounds recently mind.

Jumped around in my lounge quite noisily with my dad and 11 year old waking up my 7 year old in the process.  Luckily baby slept through.

This was appriximately 30 seconds after my dad said, Come on Town let's get a late winner, we never get late winners'.  I was just about to list off a few examples, but then the ball was in the back of the net.

That's strange. Seconds before Ricketts scored, Mrs Audrey said 'Get him off, we never score from corners'.

the bloke who sits next to me always say's, we never score from corners as well, which to be fair is accurate.

That's like when I said, "I bet he misses" just as Gladwin stepped up to take that penalty...oh, wait...

We have indeed been dreadful from corners this season though. That was a very notable exception.

I didn't get excited over the penalty decision.

Any penalty shoot-out with this squad would be petrifying. Williams, Smith, Gladwin have all missed this season while Luongo has missed in a shoot-out before too.

I threw my arms out and fell backwards a la Charlie George. The lads behind caught me... Before one flew over the top.  I have knackered my calf muscle, grazed me leg, and bruised the palm of my hand.

What a fucking night!

Oh, and that clip posted above is one of the greatest things ever filmed.

I was sitting in a rather large pub in Chipping Norton, sitting by myself in one of the dining areas with the TV in front of me.

Now, Chipping Norton has a bit of a population of Oxford United fans, so throughout the game people would come and glance at the screen and tut, or say "You're gonna lose."

I was so on edge and glued through the whole game, that the extra cold pint I ordered at the start of the game was unfinished by the end, and in the last 10 minutes I was shouting "Come on town, let's steal a win!"

So I was getting ready for a draw and the prospect of a level battle at the CG on Monday...

Then Byrne shot towards goal....

The keeper made a howler...

The net bristled...

Next thing I knew I was on my knees, punching the air, and dancing in sync with a tubby town fan on the telly; doing everything in my power not to shout the place down; as the more highly populated bar area was just through an open archway.

The pub had a very grumpy and silent feel to it afterwards! Apart from a couple of stray Town fans who came over and celebrated with me. The result is amazing, and I cannot wait to go on Monday night.

The Blue Boar, since I had a meeting right next door and it was the closest. Normally I go Kings Arms for the Arkell's Ales.

I saw some Town fans wandering around town earlier in the evening, but I didn't see them in the pub, must've gone elsewhere. Shame because it was a bit of a hostile environment! (Then again, I was wearing Swindon Colours in Oxfordshire).

Was watching in my living room and for some reason bolted into the kitchen as if I was legging it down the stairs at a match which is my instinctive reaction at a game.

My brother was watching it at uni house on sky go and his mates knew wed scored due to time delay so filmed him celebrating and put it on Facebook. That video is gold.

Must admit I've become seriously addicted to watching this. It must be at least 100 times now (whilst slowly getting more pissed). Not too keen on the songs though. The police were called to check on me during extra time against Charlton. When we told him the noise was due to the game he just asked the score and wished us well.

Nor I doubt still limping. Or gone completely missing since thinking it was a good idea to drink with students based in Sheffield all night..
