Title: Pre-matchday thread: Leyton Orient Post by: JayBox325 on Friday, May 1, 2015, 14:34:06 So this is our last game before things matter again.
Apparently there's a chance Louis Thompson could make a comeback according to FLIC. Title: Re: Pre-matchday thread: Leyton Orient Post by: Gnasher on Friday, May 1, 2015, 14:44:35 Andrew Steele-Davis
@andrew_FLICW I have a sneaky suspicion we could well be seeing L Thompson make a return on Sunday. #stfc Title: Re: Pre-matchday thread: Leyton Orient Post by: Power to people on Friday, May 1, 2015, 15:10:52 Sam seems to have poured cold water on the idea - let hope we can get a win though get into the play-off's on the back of a win.
I was asked today what I thought of our chances in the PO's I had to think for a moment but then I answered that if we play to our potential that I know we have we have a very good chance of doing very very well, but what niggles in the back of my mind where the players have been taking it easy over the last few weeks, how easy is it for them to raise their game to the level that is required. Let's be positive though get rid of any negativity and build up the excitment. Title: Re: Pre-matchday thread: Leyton Orient Post by: kerry red on Friday, May 1, 2015, 16:06:58 I'm with Cooper on this - get these mindless games out of the way so we can get on with getting to Wembley and smash those Franchise fags.
Title: Re: Pre-matchday thread: Leyton Orient Post by: Arriba on Friday, May 1, 2015, 16:18:59 Fancy orient to turn us over.
Title: Re: Pre-matchday thread: Leyton Orient Post by: Batch on Friday, May 1, 2015, 16:36:45 what niggles in the back of my mind where the players have been taking it easy over the last few weeks, how easy is it for them to raise their game to the level that is required. The problem is recently we didn't seem to be able to do that anyway, Yeovil at home was the worst example. I'm hopeful the break will banish that, rather than magnify it. Lets be honest, we could destroy Sheff U (or Chesterfield) or we could capitulate with equal probability. But the most likely scenario is that its going to be nip and tuck and a bit of luck here, or a bit of quality there will be the difference. Title: Re: Pre-matchday thread: Leyton Orient Post by: ronnie21 on Friday, May 1, 2015, 17:10:40 Listening to Cooper today I think we will see a lot of changes on Sunday, he will rest at least four or five players again - although he says they are struggling to be fit!
Title: Re: Pre-matchday thread: Leyton Orient Post by: Costanza on Friday, May 1, 2015, 17:15:43 I want to see players stake their claim on Sunday. I acknowledge Cooper's thinking, as mentioned on TEF it'll either go down as a stroke of genius or be a disaster.
Of course, knowing Town we'll somehow find ourselves losing to this struggling team. Orient will be pumped, lets not underestimate that, but we might catch them on the counter-attack if/when they get desperate. Title: Re: Pre-matchday thread: Leyton Orient Post by: suttonred on Friday, May 1, 2015, 17:53:45 Expecting to see Mass, Obika, Toffers, Nathan and Gladwin missing from reading earlier. Think Swift will play, and that probably means Barthram , Branco and Rogers in as well, kids on the bench.
Title: Re: Pre-matchday thread: Leyton Orient Post by: donkey on Friday, May 1, 2015, 18:00:13 It's a four hour round trip for me with all the associated costs... If Cooper wants to play a bunch of kids, that's fine by me. Whatever stops injuries and suspensions for the playoffs.
Title: Re: Pre-matchday thread: Leyton Orient Post by: Costanza on Friday, May 1, 2015, 18:14:26 I've paid my £27 fully aware that Town might go 'experimental' so I won't complain. I just hope it works!

I just hope it works! I got a text from the club saying it was only 27. Would be worth it if we relegate them and particularly that big headed fuckwit Mooney. Maybe if he gets relegated he can stand in front of the drs pointing to his name.Title: Re: Pre-matchday thread: Leyton Orient Post by: Costanza on Friday, May 1, 2015, 19:02:17 Would be worth it if we relegate them and particularly that big headed fuckwit Mooney. I agree with all of this, Batch, but I've got a feeling it will more likely come down to the cliched 'who wants it more' scenario - not something we've been particularly good at these past couple of months. One word to strike fear into every Town fan : Penalties Title: Re: Pre-matchday thread: Leyton Orient Post by: JayBox325 on Friday, May 1, 2015, 20:57:16 I am quietly confident when it comes to the play offs... ah fuck it, we all know what I'm like by now; COME ON TOWN! WE CAN FUCKING DO THIS!
But yeah, when it comes to Orient... meh, I'll be more focussed on the C'field & United result. Title: Re: Pre-matchday thread: Leyton Orient Post by: jayohaitchenn on Friday, May 1, 2015, 21:03:39 One word to strike fear into every Town fan : Penalties Just get Gladders to take them all. Title: Re: Pre-matchday thread: Leyton Orient Post by: DarloSTFC84 on Saturday, May 2, 2015, 13:48:41 I still can't believe this fixture is £27.
Title: Re: Pre-matchday thread: Leyton Orient Post by: bigbobjoylove on Saturday, May 2, 2015, 13:51:18 I still can't believe this fixture is £27. Matchday prices are probably the only thing I have issues with re Lee Power. I love the way the club is run in general, but I'd hope to see some of the Luongo money going in to reduce ticket prices a bit come the summer. Title: Re: Pre-matchday thread: Leyton Orient Post by: chalkies_shorts on Saturday, May 2, 2015, 13:53:28 I still can't believe this fixture is £27. Fleece the away fans as most home fans will be season tickets. Whilst I like what power is doing the tiering of tickets I don't agree with. I've got a season ticket but it doesn't sit well with me. Other than that he's doing a cracking job. Could do with a bit more energy about the place but there aren't too many jayboxes aroundTitle: Re: Pre-matchday thread: Leyton Orient Post by: DarloSTFC84 on Saturday, May 2, 2015, 14:40:55 Fleece the away fans as most home fans will be season tickets. Title: Re: Pre-matchday thread: Leyton Orient Post by: Gnasher on Saturday, May 2, 2015, 16:03:33 Great, we might have had a localish trip to Wycombe but we get shitty Bury instead (if we don't go up of course).
Title: Re: Pre-matchday thread: Leyton Orient Post by: Batch on Saturday, May 2, 2015, 16:08:37 Not sure where this goes but Blackpool are in heap of shit in more ways than one. Fair play to the Blackpool fans. Sometimes drastic measures need to be taken. Not so drastic as to hit said shitfuck leech with a chair mind. Title: Re: Pre-matchday thread: Leyton Orient Post by: Costanza on Saturday, May 2, 2015, 16:09:06 Great, we might have had a localish trip to Wycombe but we get shitty Bury instead (if we don't go up of course). Indeed. Wycombe 66.6 miles from Swindon Stevenage 107.6 miles Southend 136.8 miles Plymouth 159.1 miles It's going to be Plymouth, isn't it. Get promoted Swindon, for goodness sake. Title: Re: Pre-matchday thread: Leyton Orient Post by: Langers on Saturday, May 2, 2015, 16:41:12 Get promoted Swindon, for goodness sake. It is looking like a horribly northern league next year. Yeovil already gone, Colchester, Orient and Crawley could follow them tomorrow. City gone the other way, and if god forbid Franchise go up too then we lose another southern one. And they have been replaced with Burton, Bury, Shrewsbury, Blackpool and Wigan. Add that to an already northern dominated league and it starts to look very unpleasant indeed. So I echo your sentiment! Title: Re: Pre-matchday thread: Leyton Orient Post by: Costanza on Saturday, May 2, 2015, 17:06:35 For Swindon based fans, Millwall is potentially our closest game next season if we stay in L1 (also if MKD go up and Wycombe fail to gain promotion)

Title: Re: Pre-matchday thread: Leyton Orient Post by: Costanza on Saturday, May 2, 2015, 17:09:41 Surely Coventry..... The New Den is a couple of miles closer to the County Ground than the Ricoh. I think. I used Google maps which uses the quick road routes. Title: Re: Pre-matchday thread: Leyton Orient Post by: kerry red on Saturday, May 2, 2015, 17:11:08 Walsall?
