Title: Miiiiiiiiiiiiiiil Post by: deltaincline on Tuesday, April 28, 2015, 23:10:22 Good news the the East End scum finally dropped through the trapdoor tonight.
If we're promoted, their inevitable demise will be all the more sweet. I'll never forget or forgive those uncouth, fat-arsed, halitosis-infected wankers on their big day out at Wembley 1/2 a decade or so ago now. If we stay down, I look forward to taunting their vile cunty fans throughout next season on message boards and at both matches. Horrible, fuck-mother of a club. Although I do agree with the overall sentiment 8) Title: Re: Miiiiiiiiiiiiiiil Post by: DarloSTFC84 on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, 08:07:42 Good news the the East End scum finally dropped through the trapdoor tonight. Title: Re: Miiiiiiiiiiiiiiil Post by: Tails on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, 08:58:37 Will never forget walking out of Wembley and being taunted by loads of the cunts before their celebrations had even really started. Not to mention that fucking chant. It's not intimidating, its fucking irritating.
Title: Re: Miiiiiiiiiiiiiiil Post by: 4D on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, 09:21:41 I remember the pitch invasion at Wembley
Only saw em in the ground Title: Re: Miiiiiiiiiiiiiiil Post by: Paolo69 on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, 09:32:50 Despite being with a mates kids we were given a bit of verbal grief at the top of Wembley Way when we got off the tube that day. It might even have been intimidating had the gobshites not been sheltering from the rain under the bridge at the time. Wasn't really the most "friendly" day out but then I wasn't expecting anymore or any less.
Title: Re: Miiiiiiiiiiiiiiil Post by: Reg Smeeton on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, 09:35:13 Will never forget walking out of Wembley and being taunted by loads of the cunts before their celebrations had even really started. Not to mention that fucking chant. It's not intimidating, its fucking irritating. Imagine what it would have been like if they'd lost. We're no longer the least popular club in Div 3.....not sure if that is good or bad. Title: Re: Miiiiiiiiiiiiiiil Post by: Amir on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, 09:42:11 Our lot were pretty badly behaved that day as well, to be fair. I think a lot went with the idea that Millwall might have a go, and ended up getting their retaliation in first.
Title: Re: Miiiiiiiiiiiiiiil Post by: suttonred on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, 10:12:04 That's the first I've heard of anything like that, and never saw anything either, so what took place?
Title: Re: Miiiiiiiiiiiiiiil Post by: Batch on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, 10:20:47 a large section of their fans at Wembley were total cunts.
end of. Title: Re: Miiiiiiiiiiiiiiil Post by: ronnie21 on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, 10:27:49 We were drinking in the Ibis, load of Town supporters in there and a guy came in and started talking - he was the "spotter"! A phone call or two and they came in for a confrontation, everybody just looked at them and started singing - when they realised they were not getting a reaction they left, complete with spotter!!
Title: Re: Miiiiiiiiiiiiiiil Post by: Amir on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, 10:51:27 That's the first I've heard of anything like that, and never saw anything either, so what took place? There was a little bit of trouble leaving the ground with some of ours, then two fights at Wembley Central. The first one I didn't see, but the people I saw get nicked were Swindon. The second incident was on the train before it had moved off, and that was Millwall being Millwall. They were more of a danger to themselves trying to fight on a packed train, and they were eating platform in about 30 seconds because all of the police were still there from the first fight. I seem to remember the police saying there were an unusually high number of people from Wiltshire arrested that day. Doubt if there were many Wiltshire folk arrested in London the day before or after for that matter. Title: Re: Miiiiiiiiiiiiiiil Post by: 4D on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, 11:07:13 I saw a scuffle with the police after the game heading back to Wembley park. Helmets hitting the floor etc, think it was police trying to disperse a few cheesed off town fans who then decided they didn't want to move on.
Title: Re: Miiiiiiiiiiiiiiil Post by: 4D on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, 11:09:53 On the way to the game I remember chatting to a town fan who had a few cans of beer left, and a packed lunch made by his wife. He was too beered to carry both, the sarnies were left on the tube.
Title: Re: Miiiiiiiiiiiiiiil Post by: Amir on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, 11:13:32 Pedantry blah blah blah I just looked it up, it was the British Transport Police and they said unusual number of Swindon fans rather than Wiltshire folk. Title: Re: Miiiiiiiiiiiiiiil Post by: chalkies_shorts on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, 11:19:16 We were drinking in the Ibis, load of Town supporters in there and a guy came in and started talking - he was the "spotter"! I was in there as well. Quite a good atmosphere.Spotter and mates were not taken seriuosly and everyone carried on drinking. He picked the wrong place for scrappers. Title: Re: Miiiiiiiiiiiiiiil Post by: DarloSTFC84 on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, 11:30:33 Lucas, Cuthbert, Sheehan, Jean-Francois, Amankwaah, Douglas, McGovern, Ferry, Ward, Paynter and Austin...
Who would we take from that team (based on their form then) and put into the team now?.. Title: Re: Miiiiiiiiiiiiiiil Post by: chalkies_shorts on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, 11:47:02 Lucas, Cuthbert, Sheehan, Jean-Francois, Amankwaah, Douglas, McGovern, Ferry, Ward, Paynter and Austin... Austin and possibly Ward. Who would we take from that team (based on their form then) and put into the team now?.. Title: Re: Miiiiiiiiiiiiiiil Post by: Panda Paws on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, 11:50:45 The front two only I think.
Title: Re: Miiiiiiiiiiiiiiil Post by: Power to people on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, 12:02:52 The front two only I think. But knowing that Paynter had his move already sewn up so didn't really try I would take Austin, Ward & Ferry At least with our lot now that may be moving on they are not out of contract so the club is in charge of what offers get accepted and when and I have confidence they want to try for this team as if they didn't they would be letting their mates down as they all seem so close. Title: Re: Miiiiiiiiiiiiiiil Post by: Tails on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, 12:04:13 Lucas, Cuthbert, Sheehan, Jean-Francois, Amankwaah, Douglas, McGovern, Ferry, Ward, Paynter and Austin... Douglas, Ferry, Ward and Austin Title: Re: Miiiiiiiiiiiiiiil Post by: suttonred on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, 12:07:21 Now at this precise moment in time. Austin Only. Douglas on the slippery age slope, Ward gone backwards (and outwards) And Ferry wasnt really that good.
Title: Re: Miiiiiiiiiiiiiiil Post by: Batch on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, 12:16:32 Lucas, Cuthbert, Sheehan, Jean-Francois, Amankwaah, Douglas, McGovern, Ferry, Ward, Paynter and Austin... Who would we take from that team (based on their form then) and put into the team now?.. Same as Tails with addition of Darby. He should have started anyway, Amankwhaa bottled it. A(n on form) Douglas is what this current team misses. Austin for obvious reasons. Ferry - his consistency > Kassim's Title: Re: Miiiiiiiiiiiiiiil Post by: Amir on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, 12:24:39 Same as tails too. Amankwaah never recovered from the injury he had that season. Darby should have played but Wilson kept persisting with Amankwaah, hoping he'd get his form back.
Title: Re: Miiiiiiiiiiiiiiil Post by: DarloSTFC84 on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, 12:37:59 Same, based on his form then, I'd have Douglas, same with Austin and Ward... taking their current roles/form out of the question.
Incidently, Darren Ward started and Jon Obika & Andy Frampton were both on the bench for Millwall that day. Title: Re: Miiiiiiiiiiiiiiil Post by: Saxondale on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, 12:47:14 Honestly there was a perfectly good conversation going on about fighting and then you all start talking about football.
It'll be cheese next. Title: Re: Miiiiiiiiiiiiiiil Post by: DarloSTFC84 on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, 12:50:49 Why did the cheese lose a fight with a stone? Because the Roquefort back..
There you go, that covers cheese and fighting, happy? Title: Re: Miiiiiiiiiiiiiiil Post by: Saxondale on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, 12:51:53 Delighted.
:) Title: Re: Miiiiiiiiiiiiiiil Post by: DarloSTFC84 on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, 12:53:31 Happy to help. :cheese:
Title: Re: Miiiiiiiiiiiiiiil Post by: Abrahammer on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, 12:54:35 Douglas is running a midfield that has a shout of Championships playoffs.
He would walk into our team right now Title: Re: Miiiiiiiiiiiiiiil Post by: kerry red on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, 13:13:32 Must be something about Wembley. I was on the tube at Bakers St (Sunderland game) when all the Town fans charged off and steamed into another train full of Sunderland fans.
It was like a scene from Green Street. Think quite a few Town fans got the 6 o'clock knock from Plod after that |
