They could buy anyone? Really, Lansdown made a lot of money and is obviously a shrewd man.  Will be interesting to see if will continue to allow such heavy losses year on year, somehow i doubt he will.

Maybe we should swap squads if we don't go up? As our guys would be far better suited in the championship than their limited bunch.

Many of their fans suggested signing Branco when he was refusing to sign a new deal + played well in the first game. Chortle.

The proximity between the two clubs means that it's always possible. I trust Power to squeeze every penny from 'em where possible.

Trying to get inside the mind of a City fan is interesting. For a team with a greatest ever achievement being a toss up between the Welsh FA Cup and The Football League Trophy, their arrogance is quite hilarious.

Bristol is quite possibly, the most underachieving footballing City in the world, with an owner who spunked money up the wall hand over fist to get them in to the Premiership and they went the other way down to League One.

Their measurement of success should be against the other biggest clubs in England's other biggest cities, so Liverpool, Aston Villa, Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest, Sheffield Wednesday, Leeds United, etc. That comparison is so laughable that they have to try to make themselves feel 'big' by gloating in the faces of a club in a much smaller town down the road, with a budget a fraction of theirs....even though that club has won much more significant trophies in their history.

Their obvious arrogance is one of two scenarios for me;

1. Deep down, they know their club is an embarrassment. For a City of that size to have never won fuck all and to have even ended up in League one even for one season, as now the only league club, in a City of that size and with an owner that rich, is an absolute fucking embarrassment. They know that and they are shamed by it, so they try to mask it with bravado of being a 'big club' and a 'sleeping giant', etc.

2. They're just fucking stupid.

Or it could be a bit of both, but either way, fuck them.
