Is that because the rest were all A's, or...?

Well played.  Get smashed tonight then!  It's crap that at 16 you've got life-changing exam results, you can marry, you can smoke, but you can't drink, legally!

Dave - I thought the same.  It's shattered my illusion of him that he's such a young pup.

Just for the record, Johno may well have been tied to a tree, but no buggering took place.

I'm special!  8)

French = A*
Maths = A*
Eng Lit = A
English = A
Science = 2 A's
Drama = A
Geog = A
Business St. = A
RS = A

To be fair, Johno got some decent results, except his D in Maths.

No drinking tonight after a mates bday party yeasterday! Stayed up all night, drank a bit, or a lot, went into school, got results, went to another mate's house for champagne then spent the day with mates.

Then parents insisted on going out for a meal to celebrate.

So that's 38hrs without sleep, with booze, and counting!

Those grades are even better considering how little effort I put into most of the exams!

A couple of kids in my year worked really hard for them. One got 7 A*s, the other got 5.
They are going out with eachother.... :mooney:

Whoah, impressive R4E.

My family were very proud of me which was great, gave me some confidence anyway! Had a crap year 10 due to many different reasons but managed to make up for it. Considering I was given the option to re-do year 10 and was on F's and E's I've done pretty well.

I just asked because to do a-levels at college dont you need a C in Maths, English and Science?

Title: GCSE Results
Post by: sonicyouth on Thursday, September 1, 2005, 17:17:50
you need at least four GCSE's at Grades A-C. I've got two.

Most uni's ask for at least a C at GCSE apparently, can't comment on that though, I've got to retake my Maths GCSE :D
