Title: iPads ...
Post by: fittons_coaching_badge on Monday, January 26, 2015, 18:30:04
Not a big technology man but employers have given me a lump of cash to blow on a ipad/tablet.

Looking at getting at ipad Air 2?

Good choice/ bad choice?  Struggle to understand the difference between it all.

I've got one, also supplied by work. Can't give you any comparisons to tablets, as I've never had one, but the iPad is a great bit of kit. I can do pretty much everything I do on a PCs or laptop on it, thanks to having Office 365 installed and a wifi printer. Wouldn't be without it now.

I would sign up a new account to keep work and private life separate. As far as I know the air versions just come with a sim card/data plan. Just get standard if you only need to use on wifi

For personal use, I would buy an iPad from John Lewis. They price match and offer two year guarantee as standard.
