Title: Lost/stolen.
Post by: Ticker45 on Wednesday, December 24, 2014, 22:23:04
Just had my mobile phone purloined/nicked at the Goddards tonight. OK, my fault as left it on the table we were originally at due to it not getting a good signal then moving and being a slightly worse for wear and completely forgetting it.

Now, I would, although pissed, if found, would hand it over to bar staff hoping it would eventually find its original owner but there are obviously far too many useless c***ts out there who cannot be honest. Would love to have a number to dial that would activate a small nuclear explosion and blow the thieving bastards too oblivion.

Nice chat with a guy in India who wished me a Happy Christmas which too be honest I did not feel as charitable, but he was just just doing his job and I had been a grade A tw**t so fair play.

Bollocks, bollocks, bollocks and thrice more.

Thanks magicroundabout, will definitely use in future. As usual, thought "it will not happen to me" so why bother.

No fool like an old one and I am almost paranoid about about computer scams etc. but mobile phones are just things you put in your pocket and almost forget about.

Sony Xperia M - which to be honest is not the best in the world by any stretch. Was offered a Samsung at my upgrade for extra cost but declined. So all in all I have not lost a great deal except loads of numbers/contacts and all that bollocks.

My sister-in-law works at The Goddards, I'll ask her to keep an eye out for anything that's been handed in or check the CCTV.

Thanks Samdy, just got back onto my laptop this afternoon so missed your message until now. I did ring the Goddards  Christmas Day but nothing had shown up then and not heard anything since so I take it as being "offered elsewhere" as it were.
