I am in total disaray today, some things that are really getting up my nose (no jokes about whats been put up their):-

1. Our so called face of the club, Sandy Gray, is a complete fruit loop who again has no understanding of how a football club/business should be run.  She keeps getting on fans back for standing up, surely its a bigger crime to forget to save the 17.5% VAT on each sale....thats simple accountancy!!!  It doesnt take a lot to set up an account to save the 17.5%?!?!?!


2. Sales - I do not understand where the money has gone from Parkin sale, ok we have to pay some to Chelsea and we have the payment to inland revenue coming up.  However I was under the impression that slashing the wage bill by 500k a season was in order to pay this.


3. Player Commitment - I do not ask or expect swindon town to have the best team in the country or the league, however all I ask as a paying customer is that when they wear the uniform they put in 100% commitment and attitude.  I fail to see how some of our team can be happy with performances of late.


4. Youth innitiatives - why arent the club trying to retain and gain young supporters? If we are to have any future this is where it lies.


5. Club Shop - went to the shop before the game and bought the away kit for my little nephew, asked to have his name and number on it, they charged me and said yeah no probs be ready after game.  I went back in after the game and they said they hadnt done it due to they didnt want to use the numbers and letters up as they wont be getting more in.  This is ludicrous I could understand if it was april or may but its august and the club therefore refunded about £8 worth of my purchase due to this short sight. The shop is also open at odd times, sometimes not open at all


I could carry on with this post for ages as there is so much wrong with our club.  Carson is worth in the region of 30million and if he truely did love this club would possibly clear our debts and appoint someone capable of running his business and moving it forward.  The fact is we are a sinking ship and if nothing is done soon I fear the future.

Aologies for the rant but thats my feelings.

 Carson is not the sort of man to announce his personal wealth, save to say that whether he had 3 or 30 mill, STFC wouldn't see any of it.

 He was at the match last night which was unusual.

 At the moment the club is on life support....the powers that be do as much as they have to and no more......the decision on CG redevelopment, which should become clearer through the autumn, will probably decide if they turn it off.

All Carson ever says is that there are no really wealthy people on the Board,  they just do it out of a sense of social resposibility...ie keep the old dear alive, for local people to enjoy.

I think Carson goes to more games than people realise, even if not all of them.
I've seen him around quite a few times, home and away over the past 2 or 3 years.

But I agree that our club is a joke. If you are running out of stock, get more in. Surely that's how it should work?! Especially if you are losing money by NOT doing this!!!

Carson is a joke, he does turn up (if theres no racing on bbc that day! nice to where his priorities lie!) but the amount of money he puts into this club can't be much! must be that he has short arms and can't reach into his pockets!  :evil:

only good thing about this club at the mo, is the legend that is sir seton willis. we wouldn't even have a club now if it wasn't for him! he should have a stand named after him or something like that, the guy is a legend!

This club is a joke, I got a press pass last night (finally, it's only taken six months) and it's got 03/04 on it. Stuff like that and the club shop errors just sum this club up really...

Carson and Seton-Wills are loaded, Carson puts no money into the club and Seton-Wills could do a lot more. We're barely surviving.

That's pretty poor from the club shop but even if Carson was worth £30m which I doubt he could sink half his personal wealth into the club and it wouldn't solve all our financial problems. Don't think you should moan at Sir Seton Wills for not helping enough he's not super rich and has put £10 million or so into the club, he doesn't have to do it and it's not a good investment.
