i've got a 106 it's ace  8)

106 Rallye Series 2 has the same 1.6 8 valve engine as the Saxo VTR but with a higher rev limit and a more wild cam  :)

Oh and the Rallye is alot lighter than the VTR at 860 kg where as the VTR is 920 kg  :soapy tit wank:

It means that Ralphy needs to get out more  :D ,fecked if i know Sonic, i think that it means that you can buy lots of shite add-ons from Halfords for it .

A higher rev limit means the engine revs to a higher RPM thus giving more power. A wilder cam means it spins up quicker giving better acceleration but Twin Cam is better  8)

It had it's MOT on Monday and fuck me, it's never been so nippy - I was bombing it home between Highworth and Lechlade at a comfortable 80, it usually feels as if the car's going to fall apart if I go above 70.

Not bad cars really Clio's, except their French.

My Clio's over ten years old and it's still in fucking good condition, except for some nasty scratches on the passenger door which wasn't my fault  :x if it survives another two years to get me through college then I'll be happy, should be able to buy a nicer car and not get fucked over by insurance then.

Your car is probally about group 2 or 3 insurance isn't it?

1 is lowest, 20 is the highest.

What group insurance is the 330 Ci ?

Mine's a group 3/4, was initially charged 2.5K first year insurance.  Got it down to 1.4K with pass plus.  Second year it's 1.1K.  If it wasn't for insurance I could have bought a 6 year old RX-7!   :x

Alas I wish I did have the SRi, even the 1.4 version.  It's an SXi, a step down with the 1.2 engine.  Not even the twinport (that came out just after I bought mine - December 2003).

My mum has the 1.4 SRi, quite nippy.

I have no idea ralohy I just pay the insurance and drive the thing!

my 1.1 fiesta with 2 yrs NCB is £500. I'm going to get my Gran's Civic Coupe 1.6 Automatic in a couple of weeks, which will be £840.

Yip! Not the quickest but I have always bought fords and I love the look of the car.  :wink:

Good car the ST170, handles very well but just lacks the true punch of a real hot hatch like the RS.

Which was out of my price range! Ford seem to have lost the knack of making punchy performance cars. The new Focus ST220 is a 2.5 turbo (I think) and only has a 0-60 time of 6.9 seconds, which is probably going to be the slowest in the class.

On a random note, after almost 3 months of driving, I have found the traction control button! (Not that it is ever used! No fun there!)

The ST range is susposed to be the ' affordable ' performance range like the XR2i, XR3i etc... £19,000 for Focus ST and £13,500 for Fiesta ST!

There is a new Focus RS in the pipeline though with 300 bhp  :shock:
