The characters all felt a bit alien e.g.: why did that younger cop shoot the black guy just for laughing? Isn't that just a *touch* extreme?!

"its message was too strong" i think that was kind of the point of the film. And as for the message being too strong - there's a difference between conveying a message and ramming a message down people's throats so it is derogative to the storyline! Having said that, it was very clever in the way it was written and the death of the guy at the end was quite poignant (I had tears in my eyes, but I cry at lots of films, well not cry but eyes water.... Titanic, Watership Down.... :D ) |
