Title: At the back of the kitchen cupboard
Post by: 4D on Thursday, July 3, 2014, 22:45:39
A sandwich press,  a fondue,  a raclette,  loads of plastic tubs and lids that don't match, a mixing bowl, an unused knife sharpener, a gravy boat and a rolling pin.

Never owned a soda stream  :(

Edit. Ooh, a teapot too.

I'd love a sandwich press/george foreman. I would get so unbelievably fat if I owned one.

Pull that gravy boat out and use it next time you make any kind of sauce. Will make you feel classier.

Raclette always seemed weird to me, but I do love a good fondue. Cheese is too expensive now though...

I've got a pressure cooker kicking around, used to use it loads, then it sort of blew up....put me right off. Nevertheless it is a big old saucepan if you want to boil pig's trotters, which is highly recommended.

I've got a large George Foreman. Used it about 10 times I think. Yours for a tenner.

Ha ha, you just need the wok and the cuddly toy  :D

I was thinking about this the other day as I bought some Emmenthal which prompted me to yearn for a cheese fondue. Unfortunately the last one got lobbed about five years ago by the good lady as it was thick with dust on the kitchen cupboard. We had a recent bout with a new toastie maker as well (the children love them apart from getting scalded with hot tomato) but the amount of rotting gunge that builds up on them made it go the same way as the fondue set.

Still use a wok though  :)

There is a reason billions of people only use woks after all. They're actually pretty bloody useful.

Its where I keep the wife.

She's not allowed out the kitchen full stop.

I had one of those a few years back at a hotel I stayed at. Lovely uniform too.

Suprised nobody has found a "Brush o matic" yet.
Was it a Ronco or K Tel product?

I think you should tell us....there's 2 names there which happily I'd completely forgotten about, but would now like an update.

Found a Gaggia coffee maker, completely unused. Cost a few quid at the time but it's so much easier to lob a spoonful of Maxwell House in a mug than fart around with that thing.

Ditto Slow Cooker
