Be at the premier inn near the ground I would Imagine. It's not bad really. I stayed there a couple of seasons back.

I did large sections of the Hadrian's Wall Path while I lived up in Newcastle.

Amazing part of the country, I miss it.

Love the Hadrians Wall area, been there many times on the way to Edinburgh.

I could not imagine living there nearly 2,000 years ago in the middle of winter being posted there from warmer parts of the world (yes I know most serving there were from Northern Europe but it was still a long way from home for them) facing the damn Brittunculi on one side the raging jocks on the other :D .

I've walked a few miles of that too, lovely bleak countryside. There was a scene in Robin Hood Prince of Thieves where they are at the wall, a bit far from Nottingham  :)

to be fair I don't think that was the biggest inaccuracy :)

The worst thing about that film was Bryan Adams being 276 months at number 1

Sycamore Gap. A popular section. Near the greatly named village Once Brewed or Twice Brewed.
