  TOWN winger Alex Pritchard has been nominated for another Football League award.

And still some will insist he offers nothing to the team.

Interesting to see if/when Spurs think he might yet be ready for them. Mind you it took Andros Townsend about 3 years worth of loans all over the place to get a sniff of first team action at White Hart Lane. Probably only going to happen in the extremely unlikely event of Tim Sherwood keeping his job beyond this season

He's got no chance of making it in the premier league.

How can you tell.

Probably because he's got eyes

Because I've watched him play. If you ignore his decision making and greed, which could probably be coached out of him, you are left with a slow, one-footed midget.

He will have a decent career I think. He's a luxury player but when he's on form, you can't deny he's decent to watch. I get furious with him for his greed and refusal to smash a cross in but against Wolves at times, he had 3 or 4 defenders on him and he'd skin all of them.

Dont think he'll make it at Spurs but he'll be a decent Champ winger I think, with a possible foray into the Premier League.

Mind you, if Wayne Routledge can play in the premier league, anything is possible.

Technically good, physically/mentally poor.

Pritchard is our best player, and the only one we have with that match winning ability to do something out of nothing.

His size and lack of pace might restrict him to being a decent championship player but he's destined for bigger and better things than stfc next season

Pritchard ha got a lot of talent, a lot of potential and a lot still to learn (unsurprisingly). He could be a good championship player, or a McNamee. He's only 20 though, lets see how he's doing in two or three years time.

He's so far ahead of everyone else in the side it's embarrassing, and should be playing Championship this year. Only reason he isn't is Power and Sherwood's love in.

Mystifying that he's not fancied by a lot of our fans.

I'm one of those who doesn't rate him as highly as others. There's no doubt he's skillful but he's got a hell of a gob on him and he does like to run down blind alleys. Maybe thats due to the lack of movement around him but maybe its due to the fact that his decision making is extremely poor. His corners are absolute trash and his scoring rate from free kicks is probably no better than if we let one or two others loose on them,, although specatacular when they go in. He's also a cheat who goes down very easily and sometimes embarassingly. He's also a liability sometmies when you're a goal up by constantly playing himself into trouble.
There's nothing there though that he can't sort out if he wants to.

I like Pritchard. However he has his flaws as Chalkie quite rightly points out.

His corners are pathetic and he has a habit of making the wrong/bad decisions when on the ball.

On his day, he can be unplayable but having him is definitely a benefit to the team in my opinion.
