Always remember the floodlights being a few bulbs stuck on top of half a telegraph pole. Nice club, though. I had an exec box at the old Wembley for the L2 (Division 4) play off final between Crewe and York. You're right about the lights and their open terracing consisted of railway sleepers filled with stone track ballast. They weren't very nice that day, typical norvern scum as we came under a hail of handy sized rail aggregate.
