Title: Snacks Post by: 4D on Sunday, February 9, 2014, 20:16:26 I quite like to try unusual snacks from time to time, my local pub once sold cockles, and I used to love them. Pubs also had a phase of selling hot chili nuts from a glass box on the bar. I bought a bag of yoghurt coated banana chips the other day, surprisingly very nice. Pork scratchings, again very good as long as they are the original kind.

Most of the supermarkets do "savers" style ones.
Crystallized ginger in small doses, although not with beer! Title: Re: Snacks Post by: Honkytonk on Monday, February 10, 2014, 00:55:37 I have a real weakness for cashew nuts. Used to be my hangover killer par excellence. I like Cashews but seem to get one nice one, one nasty every single time. Not too keen on gherkins but picked onions are amazing. Garners are my weakness! Title: Re: Snacks Post by: Pete on Tuesday, February 11, 2014, 12:26:44 Pickled egg thrown into a bag of crisps :yum: Lovely. My favourites - Cheese and crackers. Also any sort of nuts, salted, coated, pistachios etc. Worst - what's with all these packs of beef jerky in the shops nowadays? Flavoured shoe leather.
