Title: Tailoring Post by: DMR on Thursday, January 30, 2014, 11:02:22 Sorry to pose such a mundane question amongst all the drugs and booze dedates, but I have recently made the stupid mistake of buying 2 suits online, without trying anything on - price was too good to miss out so went in blind - and the fit isn't quite right on either.
Can anyone recommend a tailor/tailoring shop in Swindon? It's quite nice clobber so I don't want some butcher with a needle and thread. Thanking you... Title: Re: Tailoring Post by: 4D on Thursday, January 30, 2014, 11:03:29 I think Samdy ran a similar thread to this, he may have an answer.
Title: Re: Tailoring Post by: Samdy Gray on Thursday, January 30, 2014, 11:17:14 I did. I was recommended a place in Rodbourne, but never ended up using them.
I ended up flogging the suits on eBay and buying new ones. Title: Re: Tailoring Post by: 4D on Thursday, January 30, 2014, 11:36:06 Did you sell them to DMR?
Title: Re: Tailoring Post by: yeo on Thursday, January 30, 2014, 17:02:11 Rodbournes got 2 of them now, these guys seem to be doing well just in process of moving to a bigger shop http://westtailoringandalterationsswindon.co.uk/
ive never used them because I don't own any nice clothes Title: Re: Tailoring Post by: Bogus Dave on Thursday, January 30, 2014, 18:43:03 I've bought some cotton shirts which are a bit baggier than id like, would a tailor be able to Alter the fit a bit more? It's one of those hipster, chequered cotton jobs.
