I had a bout a couple of years ago; Ok got me a week off work, and I didn't feel particularly "ill", but didn't much like the explanation, of a virus just hanging about dormant in my body since being a nipper then working its way up my nervous system. Only thing i don't have is a Mac Book because Windows OS still has the upper hand on this one.

This, but I now have a MacBook Air from work, and this has converted me into a full-on fanboi. Now I wouldn't dream of having a Windows machine (unless serious lack of cash forced me to). Expensive but absolutley worth every penny. Mate of mine, used to go to the common cold unit at Porton Down, you got paid a bit, fed and watered, and they gave you a cold for a 10 day stay, all voluntary of course. There'd be a few others, often women, he reckoned when things at home and work got a bit stressful, it was a great way to get away and chill out...and meet new people.
