Striker search goes on for Swindon Town
           
           


  SWINDON Town are still trying to bring in a striker to rival Nile Ranger for a starting berth but manager Mark Cooper has stressed that money is tight at the County Ground.

Why bring Barker in then?  We have Storey for that role....and he's scored!

Why are they looking for a striker when it's pretty bleedin' obvious that it's the defence that needs sorting out?

Maybe they will put ranger back in defence  ???

Are we scoring goals for fun then? I think our problems are at both ends.

We've had problems in defence all season. Sort that out and the rest sorts itself out.

We've got 3 good strikers already - plus 1 unknown quantity in Barker. And another who's ready to be given a chance to prove himself - Waldon.

In the centre of defence we've currently got available Ward and a relatively unknown quantity in Branco. 2 are out injured (Hall, TAH) and 1 is out on loan (Oakley). I'd say it's pretty evident we need a central defender as a priority.

Because Hall and Ward have it in their contracts that they have to play every week, Hall had to be moved to LB to accomodate Branco...
