I have to go and sit thorugh 90 minutes of Sheffield United v Wolves on Saturday. My brother gave me a choice between going fishing or watching that stuff.  :x  I think that it is a wise choice. I said why not go and see Swindon v Blackpool and he said that Blackpool was to far. I have a feeling I am going to be so bored. I would rather play scrabble or monopoly. He wont play ludo with me cos he always looses, same reason he wont play chess. On the up side atleast I am not missing a home game.

Should be a good game tbf, but nothing can replace a good old away game in Blackpool, especially after a fantastic performance :D

Well yes. I don't exactly get to see him very often and if you knew my family you wuld understand. But the brief overview is that our family is quite close but I am the odd one out because I am different and I just have to keep the peace otherwise I get it in the neck and 2 days with some northerners is better than having lectures from the whole family about how I let them all down.

I have 3 brothers and a sister. They are all from one father and I am from a second marriage. I am totally different in some ways to them. "I am too much like my father" and I am different because I have a norwegian name etc I cant stand half of them. I get on with all my brothers and sisters which is good but me and Nan are in a constant war with each other. Unfortunately we cannot avoid each other. Well thats not totally true we get on well sometimes but when we have a row it takes a few weeks to settle down. She makes silly comments about what a bad child I am and then I am a horrible disrespectful person because I tell her to piss off and the she moans cos I dont treat her with respect.

It doesn't involve me personally, i won't go into details, but i don't speak to her at all now.

However, i don't let it get me down, she has made her bed, end of. Don't beat yourself up about it, equally, don't try and run away from the problem (ie uni) it will probably not make it better....fuck me, i'm starting to sound like Trisha :shock:

I was thinking about going to the Madejski on Saturday to take in a game but then i changed my mind when i saw that they're hosting Millwall. :shock:  :?

Families are odd things, dont get on with all mine - seem to think I should be married with kids at 24 not going out getting wrecked and pushing my body to the limit!

Fucking unlucky hand you've been dealt there Nils!!  Families can be the best or worst things I reckon.  I'm lucky as I get on with all my family, I even get on really well with my Mrs' family!!  

I agree with Fats go there and support Wolves, it'll be good to see Hoddle get another team up!!  Best manager during my time at the CG, every week you'd turn up at the CG confident of beating the opposition.  The Newcastle game 2-1 win, has to be one of the best!

I've got to be honest, I think the fact I was there from the early nineties onwards is the only thing that's keeping me coming to the CG.  It's like a drug, wanting to experience that high again - if only.

Ive just had a look at the fixtures and Sheffield Utd have got Preston at Home on Saturday whilst Leeds host Wolves.

You mean Nils was lying to us all this time?  I feel used.
