He scored 4 in 15 at Hearts, which isn't too bad. The step down to league 1 (from the Championship) may help too.

That was the conclusion of all at Yeovil who had for a couple of months yes.

Hopefully it was just a case that he couldn't be bothered at Yeovil and didn't like the club thats why he gave no effort there...maybe.

He could be a perfect match for us possibly, might be.

Difficult to tell from that video but looked to be a threat up front for Hearts and a couple of intelligent assists too.

With the weather meaning the pitch likely to be worse than normal, a big target man option is going to be vital.

It took 2:18 of that video to show him winning a header :) I like the look of him though. Strong and direct and a decent shot with both feet.

The overwhelming response so far I'm getting from doing a bit of research is that he's a 6 foot 6 monster who can't win headers....

If he can hold the ball up that will help us no end but it's a bit worrying that his aerial ability seems to be quite poor. Plenty of time for that to develop though.

Like Fola. As a 6'7" giant, his ability to not win a header was comical. I swear he didn't jump, just removed his feet from the ground and lost height until he extended his legs again.

Having a player on loan is never the same as actually having a player contracted to the club with regards to effort levels and commitment to the cause.

Could he make the step up to L1 though?

Haha, I would love to see another Fola. The guy would pull off the most ridiculous skill but you know he had absolutely no intention of doing it. Remember him giving Lincoln's defence a particularly hard time, but then fluffing his shot a good 3 or 4 times.

I've seen plenty of loan players show more commitment than we've seen from some contracted players. Depends on the individual player IMO.

The basketball tall players are often shite in the air....think Crouch, Zigic, very often the giant defenders, just use their height advantage to more or less lean into the ball...Flint, Heywood, going back Nigel Grey, Simon Gibson, etc

It's the hold up play you want, as they're awkward to deal with with back to goal....Zigic used to play in a sexy, tiki taka Valencia side alongside the likes of Davids Villa and Silva, Juan Mata, Pablo Hernandez and Joaquin.

I'm just waiting for Christian Roberts to try and wrap his tongue round that when they're playing a one-two.

He was entertaining to watch though, so you got your money's worth. I actually saw him score in the flesh, Shrewsbury away in 2006, legend.

I liked the Bhaji too. He set up our equaliser at Accrington away (also 2006, a vintage year for Fola). Blimey, was it really 8 years ago .
