I can still visualise, for the first time in colour, Alan Mullery sliding in on the back stick to bury Cooper snr's inviting cross to give England the lead v the swaggering, jack booted Hun. In typical England fashion, we then threw it away because a combination of altitude and heat, went against our brave boy's preparation regime of Woodbines and light ale.
