Title: Morecambe and Wise
Post by: Munichred on Sunday, November 24, 2013, 23:23:08
I've just been watching M and W on BBC2. In his younger days Ernie has his parting on the left and when he was older his parting was on the right. Can anybody explain this?

Well it was a long standing joke that Wise wore a syrup.....maybe one side when younger was his natural, t'other side when older the syrup.   Do you reckon that Jorgi Loew gets out the old Grecian 2000?

It was a sign of his political leanings, fervent communist in his early years to uber fascist in his latter.

(I may or may not be making this up)
