Title: Bradford City v Coventry City Post by: Reg Smeeton on Sunday, November 17, 2013, 16:35:12 Cracking first half of proper Div 3 football....when do we play Coventry, could be a few goals that day.
Title: Re: Bradford City v Coventry City Post by: kerry red on Sunday, November 17, 2013, 16:39:45 I've had a tenner on at 2-3 so I reckon I'm stuffed
Title: Re: Bradford City v Coventry City Post by: Batch on Sunday, November 17, 2013, 16:41:34 Coventry have been superb this season, all things considered. If things stay as they are they would be just 3 behind us.
Hopefully their 'home' situation means they have to sell Clarke or other key players come January. Bit of a nasty thing to say, but anything to help us maintain a playoff push. Love him or hate him Clarke seems to be too good for league 1 right now. 10 goals from 14 appearances last season, 10 from 16 this (I think). Title: Re: Bradford City v Coventry City Post by: kerry red on Sunday, November 17, 2013, 16:50:13 Bradford seem to be a bit of a long ball team but causing Cov enough problems
Do they still charge just a tenner for their fans Title: Re: Bradford City v Coventry City Post by: blinkpip on Sunday, November 17, 2013, 17:05:43 Surely Coventry have the lowest wage budget in the Division now they are playing at Northampton? Are they breaking the turnover rule?
Title: Re: Bradford City v Coventry City Post by: kerry red on Sunday, November 17, 2013, 17:07:57 More like their turnover is way too low for their wage budget.
Look what's being reported about QPR today Title: Re: Bradford City v Coventry City Post by: OOH! SHAUN TAYLOR on Sunday, November 17, 2013, 17:20:32 Connell and De Vita both on for Bradford.
Title: Re: Bradford City v Coventry City Post by: Langers on Sunday, November 17, 2013, 17:27:08 Cracking game. Much better than the shite that is usually on Super Sunday.
Title: Re: Bradford City v Coventry City Post by: Gnasher on Sunday, November 17, 2013, 17:27:38 Wells hat-trick, 3-3. A draw is a decent result for us.
Title: Re: Bradford City v Coventry City Post by: Reg Smeeton on Sunday, November 17, 2013, 17:33:56 Connell and De Vita both on for Bradford. Bradford ended up with 4 ex STFC...all 3 subs, and Darby. Title: Re: Post by: sonicyouth on Sunday, November 17, 2013, 17:42:15 I barely remember Yeates as a player
Title: Re: Post by: Reg Smeeton on Sunday, November 17, 2013, 17:46:54 I barely remember Yeates as a player One of Kingy's loans...seem to remember him being decentish, then in a game at the CG, can't remember which he went on some sort of lone man mazy dribble into a cul de sac....Kingy subbed him shortly after and te 2 obviously fell out because he went back to Spurs. Please He does have a point, there's an interesting article on the Guardian site, about how some of the Prem clubs are starting to worry a bit about the lack of atmosphere at a lot of games....doesn't look good on the TV abroad. Pity they don't want to contemplate safe standing as they can charge more for seats. They've made their bed let the greedy fuckers lie in it Title: Re: Bradford City v Coventry City Post by: bigbobjoylove on Sunday, November 17, 2013, 18:19:22 Bradford seem to be a bit of a long ball team but causing Cov enough problems Coventry manager seems to agree Quote But Pressley's fury stemmed from something apparently said to him by Parkinson after the final whistle. He said: "I'm bitterly disappointed in the way Bradford City played. That was dark-age football. That's a fair point but nothing to do with the quality of football on show. There are far more better games in the premier league than there are in league 1Title: Re: Bradford City v Coventry City Post by: Langers on Sunday, November 17, 2013, 18:48:47 That's a fair point but nothing to do with the quality of football on show. There are far more better games in the premier league than there are in league 1 Totally agree in terms of quality, but not necessarily entertainment. |
