Title: Booking Flights Post by: kerry red on Tuesday, October 22, 2013, 13:52:34 Been browsing to find a holiday in Santorini next June and happened upon a site called Kayak which were advertising flights using Norwegian Airlines for £79 compared to well over double that for everywhere else.
Booked a hotel separately and hopefully have sorted a real bargain compared to a package to the same place. Anyone else looking for flights would be well served looking at that site Title: Re: Post by: Batch on Tuesday, October 22, 2013, 14:07:43 Funnily enough looking for flights to Stockholm next year and Norwegian came out cheapest.
Just be aware that they are a budget airline and if you get the cheapest tickets class then you pay extra to check in baggage. Seem decent enough airline though, newer planes and Wi-Fi. I'll check out the site you recommended later. I use skyscanners normally. Only costs £7 for 20kg of checked in luggage so not bad, and the WiFi can be a bit patchy as you would expect but for free is a welcomed addition. Also you can pick a seat for no extra charge when checking in at the airport rather than the seat scramble with the usual budget airlines. Title: Re: Booking Flights Post by: Chubbs on Tuesday, October 22, 2013, 17:58:25 Norwegian are looking at doing flights to the States for 150 quid one way. I'll take one of those.
Title: Re: Post by: sonicyouth on Tuesday, October 22, 2013, 19:43:54 I always fly Norwegian now, brand new fleet, decent comfort for budget and nowhere near as many delays as BA
Title: Re: Booking Flights Post by: suttonred on Tuesday, October 22, 2013, 22:28:39 That's because there is only 1 airport and 3 passengers at any one time.

I'll take one of those. Bugger me that's fantastically cheap! Via Iceland? I presume it can't be to JFK, but Newark is alright, at least if you're going somewhere other than NY. Title: Re: Post by: Batch on Thursday, October 24, 2013, 06:50:47 It's JFK but lot of the cheap flights are sold out already. September 2014 looks good though!
They are also flying to la and fort lordadale but more expensive for obvious reasons. Might only need one way ticket, it's a dreamliner :) Title: Re: Booking Flights Post by: ExiledEric on Thursday, October 24, 2013, 11:54:21 I go to Scandinavia a lot on business and they are great. Food and drink on board is pricey but they are much better than Easyjet or Ryanair. They are having a few problems with their dreamliners though.
