Rhys - 7 - couple of good saves didn't have to much to do.
Collins - 7 - Looked comfortable on the ball. Looked like he had something to do with their goal but couldn't see.
Seano - 8 - Good goal. Did well to cope with Culip but won all his headers.
Jerel - 7 - No cock ups looked solid.
Smith - 7 - Looks a good signing, good on the ball, wins his headers, good getting forward and getting back to defend.
Nicolau - 7 - Looked good and is good defensivly for a winger.
Pook - 7 - Solid
Whalley - 7 - My opinion is changing. He won headers in the middle of the park and his passing is good.
Buzzer - 6 - Looked unfit but still did ok. Good to have his experience with no Jenks in the side.
Cureton - 5 - Didn't do a thing really but a good work rate.
Fallon - 10 - MOM - Won lots of headers he was what we were missing. Nice goal even though he was offside.

subs
Shakes - 7 - Good down that right wing at the end. Couple of good crosses.
Roberts - 7 - He livend up the tempo as it was going flat towards the end. Personally surprised that he didn't start after Tuesday.

4th official - 0 - What a twat. Took about 3 mins to find out how it works and then puts up #96

i know everyone will say fallon was man of the match but not far behind for me was nicholau!

he ran his arse off all afternoon and played things simple!

he may not be as gifted as the fat howard but he puts in 10 times more effort and to be honest he looks as though he gets forward more simple but with more effect!

early days i know!

cureton did not so much but today was all about fallon! curo did set up rorys gaol though

not sure about collins, i think summerbee would work better with jenkins as he seems to keep his postion alot better! collins was getting out of position too much for me!

Collins kept drifting into the centre too much for my liking.

How did he make so many appearances for Sheff Weds last season?.

I agree with most of that... although I think O'hanlon was finding Gareth Taylor quite a handful in the air.

Fallon made the difference today, I wouldn't be dissapointed to see Roberts and Fallon stating against blackpool.

Smith deffinitely looks like a good signing, he impressed me today.

Forest will not go up if that's the best they can muster.

City: 3 games, 1 point, no goals. Soapy Fucking Tit-wank.

I couldn't disagree with that although I'd give Summerbee a 7 as well, the quality was clear but the lack of fitness and match sharpness hindered him somewhat.

still not sure on collins. Fallon and nicholau had great games, cureton was dissapointing.

roberts and shakes were brilliant when they came on. some good saves by rhys. a good team performance overall

think pook and whalley had better games in the centre too.

Yeh exactly what Johno said.  I'd give Nicholau a 9 for his performance, and Fallon an 11, the extra point for acknowledging the fans at the end and generally being the new Parkin, except younger, taller, faster and fitter.

Pretty much spot on, I'm still not keen on Collins though. I thought Pook did very well, Summerbee looked quality he used the ball very well.

Fallon - is this the same man I watched last season? Won nearly all of his headers, held the ball up well, looked hungry, took his goal well. Top man today.

Apart from Collins' poor marking for the 1st Oldham goal (I didn't go to Barnsley) I think he looks quite good. Agree with the drifting though.

He looked a very strong player to me, and I thought that he was left a bit isolated for their goal, with two players on him near the goal, so not his fault? Not sure.
Fallon, especially early on, was immense, winning nearly every long ball and relieving pressure, he made the difference until we settled down and gained confidence. A real handful all game.
Agree with Nils ratings.

All were about 300000% better than the other night,

Nicolau was very very good defensivly, much more defensive than a certain fat bastard with a broken foot!!

Fallon was what we were missing, all the balls forward stuck up there and didnt come right back at us...

I thought Collins did well and I would agree with 7 for him, I have no doubt he can do better though.

If Fallon can continue to play like that he will have a great year, looks to have really found some form and determined to fight for a place in the side, hope it continues.

I don't think Collins was that good, he hoofed it all of the time I would give him a 6.  I was very impressed with Sean'O today and Jack Smith looked solid.  Shakes looked good as did Roberts, he is a real fighter and I noticed that when he came on he wasn't wearing any shinpads.  The ref was ok, but some dodgy decisions by the linesmen.  Evans and Fallon both had good games, Fallon's close control has improved immensely and I think Summerbee was quite frankly today not up to scratch.  He was too slow and his delivery was not that great, he did have the one good shot from 30 or so yards.  The crowd generated an ok atmosphere and I think the Forest supporters were loud as well.  Hopefully we can turn the County Ground into a fortress and bring back the fairweather supporters.

Collins did well for me too, I'd give him a 7.

He had two players on him for the forest goal so couldn't possibly be his fault, O'hanlon was the player missing there!

Still well played by all, especially Super Rory Fallon. parkin who!?

I think Collins deserves a 7 as well.  A couple of times he tried an ambitous pass that didn't work out, but if it had of done, it would of created a decent chance at goal.

Centre Backs looked shite, apart from attacking wise, which isn't their job.

All the rest weren't bad.

I cant believe Summerbee was selected ahead of Roberts or especially Shakes.Clearly not fit, match or otherwise. As it was,he should have been brought off at half-time.Sorry to put a damper on things but Buzza should not be selected until fully fit specially when other players are chomping at the bit. However it was a good performance today.I also liked Nicolau-what a good attitude he has-1st half when he wasn't getting a lot of ball he worked his bollocks off and 2nd half he showed a lot of quality.Fallon gets a 9 would have been 10 if he'd tucked his 1st chance away. The poor performers of Tues(Pook Whalley and Collins) all improved today.Only disappointment was Cureton, although he nicely set up the 1st goal, his shooting was weak and he was tooo easily dispossessed for me.Thorpe must feel a bit aggrieved after scoring on Tuesday.

Yeah, Thorpe was out with a virus. We've only got Summerbee for 10 days to begin with so it's difficult to make a decision without playing him.

Althought he wasnt amazing, I think Buzzer did alot better than most of us expected....He isnt match fit, but give it a few games and he'll be firing.....then sign for someone else.....d'oh

The signs of quality were pretty evident to me and I feel he had quite a positive impact on the game, although the substitution should have come earlier.

I hope he stays for the season, he'll be a real asset.

That might be a step too far and a bit too close to tempting fate  8)

another thing about Buzzer is his set piece deliveries - what were they like in the days of old? Without Smith we don't really seem to have anyone who can take a fucking corner, Roberts can never clear the first man.

Apart from the one that landed on SeanO's head

We'll miss Parkin, Fallon wont replace him....but I do expect Fallon to contribute more this season than he did the last....

Summerbee can cross and hit a ball, few games and it'll get back to its best. Fallon will love the service as Windarse did lasy season

what people seem to forget is that although buzzer was quiet mainly because his fitness it was beacuse he had to keep covering for collins as he kept running out of position!

buzzer said himself that given a match or 2 he will be taking on the players then getting the cross in but today was about keeping things simple and that is experience which is what we need!

if roberts had started on the right he would have not stayed in his position and we would have been exposed more on the right!

summerbee gives a team balance like holmes did for us on the left!

i think he could be a very important signing for us not only for that but as others have mentioned his set pieces and free kicks! his passing is generally good and i think he will be more consistant than igoe ever was!

him being here can only help nicholau and shakes not only for competition but they can learn from him that you dont need to take on everyone in the team before you get a cross in! i hope we give him a contract!
