Title: On Line Ticketing Post by: OOH! SHAUN TAYLOR on Thursday, August 29, 2013, 21:21:35 I'm sure this has been mentioned elsewhere but I can't find it so....
I'm trying to book tickets on line. I haven't used the new set up before and I'm being asked for a 'Client ref'. Where do I get that from? It's not my old 'fan number'. Thanks in advance. Title: Re: Re: On Line Ticketing Post by: Batch on Thursday, August 29, 2013, 21:41:21 It's printed on the new season tickets.
Title: Re: On Line Ticketing Post by: OOH! SHAUN TAYLOR on Thursday, August 29, 2013, 22:11:01 But I'm not a ST holder. That's why I'm trying to book tickets on line.
Title: Re: Re: On Line Ticketing Post by: Batch on Thursday, August 29, 2013, 22:20:44 Ah, thought that may be the case after posting. In which case I don't know.
But can't you just register a new account and it will create you a new client ref number which is then displayed after your name in brackets once you log in. I created a new account before I got my season ticket and then managed to book the Tottenham tickets with it. Have you done this already? Where is it asking for a reference number? Can't be more specific as can't check the os, got Cornish Vodafone at the moment which is like 1990 dial up speeds. Title: Re: On Line Ticketing Post by: @mwooly63 on Friday, August 30, 2013, 05:51:02 I had an email from the club before start of season with client ref on it
I was registered to the old system so maybe thats why got one Title: Re: On Line Ticketing Post by: OOH! SHAUN TAYLOR on Friday, August 30, 2013, 06:14:41 It just gave me the option to create a new account which I'm sure it didn't give me last night (although it probably did).
Any way, thanks chaps! Title: Re: On Line Ticketing Post by: THE FLASH on Friday, August 30, 2013, 18:38:20 I ordered and had confirmed lower tier tickets and had upper tier sent for QPR....so a bit fucked off with that.
Title: Re: On Line Ticketing Post by: RappersDelight on Friday, August 30, 2013, 21:42:05 how do I link my account to my season ticket? i.e client reference? just created an account but bit concerned I wont be able to get Chelsea tickets as it wont know i'm a season ticket holder?
Title: Re: On Line Ticketing Post by: OOH! E-mail the ticket office. They're pretty helpful in fairness and will get back to you quite quickly.Title: Re: On Line Ticketing Post by: suttonred on Friday, August 30, 2013, 21:52:03 Ah bollocks I missed all this.I have no idea what to do for upcoming tickets. I am on the old database but for Peterborough I bought my ticket in the pub, so have no idea what to do next?
Title: Re: Re: Re: On Line Ticketing Post by: Batch on Saturday, August 31, 2013, 07:01:58 how do I link my account to my season ticket? i.e client reference? just created an account but bit concerned I wont be able to get Chelsea tickets as it wont know i'm a season ticket holder? make sure you are logged out. on the online ticketing page 'homepage' instead of using 'login' there is an 'activate account' link just below where you enter your log in details. It will then ask you for your client ref number from your season ticket and I think surname. You will be taken to a 'confirm details' page thereafter. You can use the same email/password as when you created your online account. From now on you should see your season ticket when you log in. You can also add friends and family to your account network using their client ref or email. This should in theory let you buy tickets on their behalf. Title: Re: On Line Ticketing Post by: Langers on Saturday, August 31, 2013, 08:28:44 So, if I bought Shrewsbury tickets on the day, does that mean I get no loyalty points? Seems a bit unfair as I travelled all the way to fucking Shrewsbury.
Title: Re: On Line Ticketing Post by: Ƭ̵̬̊: The Artist Formerly Known as CWIG on Saturday, August 31, 2013, 09:43:57 Thing is we know now how it works for the future, for example I have got a mate to get me a Wolves ticket and now I get fuck all for it.....won't be doing that again.

If your mate got them online he can link your ticket with your myworld account thru his so you will get credit Even if he bought from the shop should still show on his myworld so can still link Providing myworld is working Cant log in at mo Be a nightmare around chelsea ticket sales Title: Re: On Line Ticketing Post by: Langers on Saturday, August 31, 2013, 09:49:10 How would our ticket office know you did that though? Would I need to take the ticket to the ticket office for them to link it? Title: Re: On Line Ticketing Post by: @mwooly63 on Saturday, August 31, 2013, 10:01:33 Cheers, how would that work? Would I need to take the ticket to the ticket office for them to link it? Not sure if would work that way - i thought all tickets bought in club shop/ticket office were linked to that persons account Never hurts to ask them tho Does your mate have a myworld account ? If he does it may show on there Title: Re: Re: Re: On Line Ticketing Post by: swindonmaniac on Wednesday, September 11, 2013, 22:26:11 make sure you are logged out. on the online ticketing page 'homepage' instead of using 'login' there is an 'activate account' link just below where you enter your log in details. Great bit of information - Thanks - pity the club couldnt explain it in easy terms !!!!.You can use the same email/password as when you created your online account. But I'm a bit confused.
If you are registered for online ticketing on the club site (which I am), am I right in thinking that you need a separate online registration for STFC MyWorld in order to start accruing MyWorld points? The reason I ask is that (a) I think I do; but (b) when I click on the STFC MyWorld link it just takes me back to the standard online ticketing page showing the ticket I bought for today's game. Thanks. And apologies if this has been covered elsewhere. Title: Re: On Line Ticketing Post by: @mwooly63 on Saturday, September 21, 2013, 07:56:44 OK...remedial question coming up. On the page where shows your ticket Scroll down to bottom - on right is " My memberships " Click that and sign up to MYworld You dont need to sign up for that for loyalty points but yes you do for myworld point Title: Re: On Line Ticketing Post by: Ardiles on Saturday, September 21, 2013, 08:08:06 Thanks mate. I had to pay a phantom postage charge of £1, but seem to have signed up now.

Tis not phantom You will get a myworld card thru the post You can add game tickets to it ,save collecting or printing Title: Re: On Line Ticketing Post by: Ardiles on Saturday, September 21, 2013, 08:19:58 Ah!!
Thanks again. Very slow on the uptake, but I get it now. Title: Re: On Line Ticketing Post by: wobby on Saturday, September 21, 2013, 20:07:04 Myworld cards didn't work today but guessed there may be a problem so took the printed tickets. Hopefully wont be a problem on Tuesday as don't have printed tickets.
Title: Re: On Line Ticketing Post by: kaufman on Saturday, September 21, 2013, 20:36:18 Assigned my ticket for today on my "myworld" card. Went through the turnstile with a printed off email confirmation (like the letter through the post with the card said) but the card didn't work.
Went into club shop, a young lad with glasses (didn't catch his name) was doing a brilliant job juggling all the problems thrown at him from various members of staff. He went into the system and it was a problem their end, he changed the system to add it to my card. He then took me to the turnstile to make sure it all worked and it did. It's going to be a really good system, you know, eventually. Title: Re: On Line Ticketing Post by: Paolo69 on Saturday, September 21, 2013, 21:11:19 Pretty sure that's Jason mate. The whole system is nowhere near fail safe but he knows his onions and is definitely the "go to" man.
Title: Re: On Line Ticketing Post by: Batch on Saturday, September 21, 2013, 21:18:25 Incidentally, last season juniors flashed the yellow and green lights at the turnstyle, adults just the green.
This year both seem to just activate the green. So do the turnstyle operators have something come up on a screen to distinguish them or something Title: Re: On Line Ticketing Post by: Notts red on Saturday, September 21, 2013, 22:38:30 Incidentally, last season juniors flashed the yellow and green lights at the turnstyle, adults just the green. There isn't any screens for the turnstile operators, was debating this a couple of weeks ago so asked an operator.Has anyone used the self print tickets? I noticed today the bloke in front of me had one but all the operator did was make a tear in the print out across the barcode. I asked what's to stop anyone from making multiple copies and using them for entry into the ground and the operator said nothing ! This year both seem to just activate the green. So do the turnstyle operators have something come up on a screen to distinguish them or something Title: Re: On Line Ticketing Post by: Batch on Saturday, September 21, 2013, 22:46:00 Interesting......
I'd imagine a bit of abuse on both these then. Title: Re: On Line Ticketing Post by: Notts red on Saturday, September 21, 2013, 22:55:18 Interesting...... Know what your saying about the junior robins ST, last game I gave my lad my card by mistake and i used his, didn't make any difference as both times the green light came on. The print out tickets will cause a big headache if people are printing out several copies for the Chelsea game as there will be very few spare seats in the ground. I'd imagine a bit of abuse on both these then. Title: Re: On Line Ticketing Post by: joteddyred on Saturday, September 21, 2013, 23:41:32 Interesting...... I'd imagine a bit of abuse on both these then. Indeed. The chap in front of me tested it out today by swapping his ST with his son (U10). Flashed green and in he went without question. Doesn't seem to differentiate. Title: Re: On Line Ticketing Post by: Bogus Dave on Sunday, September 22, 2013, 08:17:08 Those in the turnstyles are only there to sort out problems if the barcode doesn't work. I bought student tickets for every game i went to last season, and they didn't ask for ID once.
Title: Re: On Line Ticketing Post by: DarloSTFC84 on Sunday, September 22, 2013, 20:24:21 Those in the turnstyles are only there to sort out problems if the barcode doesn't work. I bought student tickets for every game i went to last season, and they didn't ask for ID once. I don't think they have any kind of screen in the booth do they? It's literally a green light for go... I do hope they've sorted this online ticketing thing out properly as the Chelsea game being a sell out could cause a few issues if seats have been double booked etc. I'm pretty confident they won't have been though.. Title: Re: On Line Ticketing Post by: reeves4england on Monday, September 23, 2013, 16:24:44 Got my membership card today. The club charged £1 for the card plus a £2 booking fee, then sent it in an envelope with no stamp, so I had to pay £1.50 for the privilege of collecting it from the post office.

You could try 'contact us' on the myworld site. I had an issue that needed sorting, and Jason got it sorted straight away. He may be able to help (as he seems pretty helpful to others on here too). Getting to Swidon quite early tomorrow night so might just speak to somebody then. Title: Re: On Line Ticketing Post by: Minnesota Fats on Wednesday, September 25, 2013, 12:09:28 Having read about people having issues regarding their tickets from Saturday I was half expecting similar problems yesterday with mine. Lo and behold the barcode on my home 'print out' ticket wasn't recognised at the gate. The poor girl repeatedly fed it into the system but to no avail. Eventually, she tore the code off and just let me through. My mate had exactly the same problem.
Now, I've received my MyWorld card, I'll feed my next game on to that and see how I fare. We're getting there, slowly but surely. Title: Re: On Line Ticketing Post by: ReadingRed on Wednesday, September 25, 2013, 12:40:12 I had an issue that needed sorting, and Jason got it sorted straight away. He may be able to help (as he seems pretty helpful to others on here too). I had a right panic last night when my MyWorld card flashed up red at the turnstiles. Rushed down to the ticket office and they had no trace of me paying for a ticket. I nearly lost my rag but Jason was brilliant - sold me a ticket and said to sort it out later. The guy's a star.Title: Re: On Line Ticketing Post by: Langers on Wednesday, September 25, 2013, 13:34:47 I was pleasantly surprised that My 'MyWorld' card worked perfectly despite me receiving after I bought the Chelsea ticket.
Title: Re: On Line Ticketing Post by: @mwooly63 on Sunday, September 29, 2013, 13:18:03 Just been on the online ticketing site and seems to be a tab missing
Can no longer select a certain seat by view ( interactive seating map ) Only tabs available are Stadium overview/fast tickets and my favourite seat Most odd Anyone else getting this ?? Title: Re: On Line Ticketing Post by: Abrahammer on Sunday, September 29, 2013, 14:22:59 Yes I had the same thing on Friday when hoping to choose a seat.
Hopefully just a temporary glitch |
