Went up on the football Special, herded to and form the ground, fantastic away turnout, same season we'd been to Arsenal, drawn and beat em 4-4 back at the CG. The memory for me in the Arsenal game was every man singing Wembley 69 , Wembley Wembley 69 when we were 3-1 up. The old shrivvy road stand was litterally swaying from side to side. Not sure they ever let people upstairs again in there after that. Was only about 12 and with me Granddad. Some Wolves thug tried to grab me Scarf and good old Grandpa smacked a half empty bottle of light ale on back of his head. Ah the good old days ..... |
