So in the case of Troy we managed to pay possibly vastly over the odds for a player who at 24 years of age has knackered knees plural. Hmmm it just gets better and better.

Makes you wonder how he passed the medical tbh, surely there must have been a problem there at that point? What a complete waste of money and stuck with both of them no doubt.

King also wasn't able to play more than 2 games less than 4 days apart, hence the kerfuffle over his England selection.  I assume the same could apply here?

Wonder if they are under warranty?

What both of his knees, it would be a little harsh to get rid of just one?  ;)

Paolo probably didn't bother with medicals as his expensive Italian doctor's are some of the best in the land.

There were limited/no medicals under Paolo, and physicians over here are struggling to work out what was done at that clinic. From what I've been told, anyway.

I'm warming to Cooper, that's pure Kingy right there.  I think he'll be ace as Phil Neal, to Lee Power's Graham Taylor.

Regarding Troy it does explain a few things, as he often walked around the pitch like he was injured.
The PDC training regime probably did him no favours at all, as he had no problems at all the two seasons before at Exeter.

I was under the impression that clinic he had links with in Italy was supposed to be one of the best in the world. The first time Jay mac crocked himself he said how good it was.

It never said what it was the best at though did it...

As for Jay Mac I imagine he would have learnt not to speak out against the messiah (I recall the clinic was a key plank of Paolo's I will do everything for the club PR push) otherwise he would have rapidly disappeared on loan somewhere as he was not loyal.

I'd have thought giving medicals would be mandatory as surely there would be insurance implications of not doing so?
