Title: Ticket Office Post by: PetsWinPrizes on Friday, July 26, 2013, 10:03:06 Does anyone know if it's open tomorrow ? I'm in Town and after a Posh ticket, given that the all new singing and dancing 'on line booking' thing keeps crashing, I thought might be easier to go and purchase in person
Title: Re: Ticket Office Post by: Ƭ̵̬̊: The Artist Formerly Known as CWIG on Friday, July 26, 2013, 11:38:31 Usually opens for a few hours in the morning on Saturday non home matchdays

Title: Re: Ticket Office Post by: Paolo69 on Friday, July 26, 2013, 21:00:12 My mate went down last Sat and they weren't open though. I'd ring before making the trip if I were you.
Title: Re: Ticket Office Post by: fatbasher on Friday, August 2, 2013, 10:21:15 Just to let you all know. Not all ST are in. I went to take my Posh ticket back for a refund as I cannot go and was surprised at the amount of people queuing up. Then the penny dropped. I also did not know that EXISTING ST holders had to collect new cards!
Title: Re: Ticket Office Post by: SuggWillSugg MBE on Friday, August 2, 2013, 14:30:07 Just been in to pick up my dad's ST and get my Torquay tickets.
Queue for DRS season tickets was huge but no queue at all for the Arkells! Girl in the shop was very helpful even when her computer fucked up. Very happy with service. Title: Re: Ticket Office Post by: Notts red on Friday, August 2, 2013, 15:14:01 People still seem to be getting the BOGOF offer on Torquay tickets? Other who have asked the about the offer have been told there isn't an offer which seems odd. Maybe our ticket office is giving them out but ticket master isn't ?

Other who have asked the about the offer have been told there isn't an offer which seems odd. Maybe our ticket office is giving them out but ticket master isn't ? I got a toofer on Torquay tickets yesterday afternoon. But it was cheapest ticket free so the free one was my lads and my mate's lads which would only have been a quid anyway. Still got five tickets for a League Cup game for 21 quid though, can't complain about that!Title: Re: Ticket Office Post by: Notts red on Friday, August 2, 2013, 19:48:59 I need to buy a couple more adult tickets for the torquay game, going to pay on the night so I'll have to remember to ask. Won't hold my breath though.
Title: Re: Ticket Office Post by: Ticker45 on Sunday, August 4, 2013, 14:07:34 I have been trying to use the online ticketing system to buy my Torquay ones and it trundles all the way through until I want to pay then it freezes. It has done this yesterday evening and twice today which is a pain.
I can go down the ground tomorrow and get them that way but if this is happening to other people who may be relying on the site then it does not paint the system in a good light. Title: Re: Ticket Office Post by: Batch on Sunday, August 4, 2013, 15:23:41 Sounds frustrating. Isn't the site powered by ticketmaster now? They may be thieving bastards with their service charges, but they'll come good.

It doesn't appear to work yet, however it does have a record of all your purchases if you look in the history so maybe this will get sorted out later Title: Re: Ticket Office Post by: DarloSTFC84 on Sunday, August 4, 2013, 15:46:12 It doesn't appear to work yet, however it does have a record of all your purchases if you look in the history so maybe this will get sorted out later I haven't actually used 'My World' I'm assuming I log in with my S/T number? Title: Re: Ticket Office Post by: Reg Smeeton on Monday, August 5, 2013, 11:03:35 Just back from a failed sortie to get a ticket for the Torquay game...chaos down there. Lots of grumpy people milling around looking very pissed off.
Life's too short to hang about waiting to purchase a R1 LC ticket. I now know what McCrory meant when he said the back room reorganisation, was happy internally, but yet to show that externally . Hope there's no plans for a tour of the Arkells brewery any time soon... Title: Re: Ticket Office Post by: Batch on Monday, August 5, 2013, 11:07:51 Glad i went Saturday lunchtime now, there was only a 15-20 minute queue to get STs and Torquay tickets.
Title: Re: Ticket Office Post by: Bewster on Monday, August 5, 2013, 11:23:28 Just been down to get tickets for Turkey and renew junior red. Not what I would call slick - a lot of faffing around with season ticket collections so hopefully when they are all done it should be a lot better.

Surely to help supporters out a Sunday opening would have been worthwhile on this occasion?

It was chaos some guy had a list of peoples ST that were definitely not there (only DR I believe) and everyone else's might be there, one guy had driven 70 miles to be told it is in the post . That coupled with people wanting to buy Turkey tickets and also merchandise it was chaotic, thankfully mine were there and I got Torquay tickets all at once. They didn't have my ST x 2 - and said I must have marked for them to be sent out. I assured the lad I hadn't. He then added my name and no to a scabby looking bit of paper and said come back Thursday or they would call me beforehand if they found them. I didn't got mad like the person in front of me did as they are only kids trying to do a decent job.
I then asked for 2 Torquay tickets and didn't mention the bogof offer although virtually everyone around me did. He charged me £20 - now I appreciate this is correct but you would have thought given the circumstances he might have mentioned the bogof. I feel sorry for the boys and girls working there at the moment. Not impressed and not many people in the queue were. Title: Re: Ticket Office Post by: Power to people on Tuesday, August 6, 2013, 11:51:58 It does look as if they have got quite a few youngsters working in the ticket office and shop, I assume these are matchday staff drafted in during school / college hols to help out while they get sorted.
It has never been this chaotic previous but I suppose they have let their experience in the ticket office redundant / retire so they have to work it all out for themselves how to organise it correctly. Really simple to link together and buy as a group too.
This has made it very easy to nick some other fuckers seats on the halfway line in the DRS for tonight. That said, haven't picked up actual, real life season ticket cards things yet, so will reserve full judgement and praise as necessary until then. Title: Re: Ticket Office Post by: pauld on Tuesday, August 6, 2013, 14:41:05 So, as I couldn't get through on the phone to see if my season tickets were in or not, I decided to chance my arm at going in in person. And it was fine, credit where it's due.
Staff were (as expected) great and very helpful, bit of confusion at first but quickly resolved by (aaarrggghh! Don't know his name - sorry about that, think it might be the fella who posts on here) the younger blonde-haired fella who was part of the old ticket office crew and survived the summer cull. Couldn't have been more helpful. While the process overall has clearly been a bit of a cock-up, the staff on the ground are doing a great job. Very fair comment Paul, the staff are doing their best - unfortunately when I went in on Friday they were overwhelmed and the lack of organisation was obvious. Seems strange they had tickets stored in at least three different locations and had to check all three for our tickets, multiply that by 4 (that was what I was collecting) and you could see the problems. Of course, if they had the tickets at the end of June things would have been so much easier for them - and us.Title: Re: Ticket Office Post by: cheltred69 on Tuesday, August 6, 2013, 21:33:02 Sorry if I've missed it but does anyone know when season tickets are being posted to those of us who opted for them I be delivered?

Firstly why do we have to re register when I am already registered with the ticket office as previously having had a season ticket and before then I was on the system. Secondly, why change all of the seating numbers? Doh! Finally after uploading my papyment details it went tits-up and the seats I reserved are now not available...
