Holy fuck. I think I might have spotted the problem.....

 We have had some entertaining sides down the years....some more successful than others. I'd suggest though all those sides have had a core of very good players, mixed with a bit of steel at the back or in midfield....so for example would the Ardiles/Hoddle sides been able to function without Ross McBlobby....would the Danny Williams/Fred Ford sides of the mid 60's into 70's have functioned without Joe Butler? 

 To some extent, the changes in laws governing yellow cards etc, mean that the midfield "reducer" has become the "water carrier" nevertheless most top sides have someone who can dictate a game, by resorting to cunning and match play rather than relying on pure football.

I suppose we've got Alan Navarro, but will he play many games?

Maybe this Yasser Kasim fella will play when Navarro doesn't - Who knows?

From the little I've seen of the new additions, barring Tjiane & Mason as I haven't seen either, we seem to have quite a quick mobile team. Get a couple of early positive results and who knows! (Really trying to convince myself here!) The line-up below doesn't look too bad does it?  :hmmm:

We need a goal scorer and for me Williams isn't one, apart from that looks promising.

Agreed Williams isn't the goalscorer we need there. Also from the couple of pre season games i have seen not Alex Smith is going to be much use, hope i'm wrong.

A proper Forward (not a converted winger who doesn't really score) and an experienced defensive midfield player and it doesn't look too bad.

Judging solely on the Spurs game, which might not be entirely fair, Smith didn't seem very good...  especially when compared with Louis, who was much more useful.

Isn't Alex Smith's perferred position left back?

It will be interesting to see how much Louis plays this season. He's certainly a very promising prospect.

Thats where he started but his last season with fulham he played in midfield. Watched him at left back in one game in preseason and i think he's more of a midfielder. Guess we will see.

What about when we get injuries ?

So they are picking players that KMac was fine with an it is tough if the new manager  / coach likes them or not as they all agreed and majority rules, even Sangita had a say.

Can someone explain what WyScout is and how it is used by clubs to get players ?

I read an article about it yesterday. It is a massive database of over 200,000 players (That number is from memory, could be more) and you can watch videos and view statistics of those players. I believe most teams now use it.

Think real Football Manager...I believe Big Sam was one of the first big users of it back at Bolton.

I'm sure we've saved a penny or two by reducing the player range to 20, wearing white and based in North London.
