Caddis' loan spell left him on the brink of his first senior cap, he'll go to a club who can come close to what we pay him.
Also, at Benson's age he needs games. Hopefully a club nearer to his base can provide him a decent offer. I'm helplessly hoping that we can get the 'big wage' players out. We don't want a group of Winston Bogarde's picking up wages and doing nothing. It defeats the point of what the board are doing with the squad. Of course, under the previous board we would have simply paid these guys off or at least tried to. I hope we can work something out with Caddis and get the best out of him for the last year of his contract, but it doesn't seem very likely. |
