Title: Season Tickets Post by: SleafordRobin on Sunday, July 21, 2013, 11:09:28 Any idea when we'll get them?
I'm trying to buy my Peterborough ticket online (closest game of the season) & getting a bit frustrated with the online ticket office, it wont let me buy a ticket because I don't have the correct privileges, which I assume is my ST details? I'm not a new ST holder but when I set up my account it never asked for ST details? I'll ring the ticket office tomorrow if all else fails. Ring the ticket office, you will already have an account setup for you which is linked to your ST. You may have to delete the account you setup yourself, (they did it for me) & you can then link tickets together if you have more than one of you with ST's. I did manage to buy our tickets for Peterborough online yesterday Title: Re: Season Tickets Post by: SleafordRobin on Sunday, July 21, 2013, 11:26:52 Ring the ticket office, you will already have an account setup for you which is linked to your ST. I take it ST not been dispatched yet? No, I have bought tickets for Torquay & they have sent me tickets as they weren't ready. We will probably go to Charters before the game, usually have a good selection of real ales, have space outside (assuming the weather is ok) & it's crawling distance from the ground :) Title: Re: Season Tickets Post by: Bob's Orange on Sunday, July 21, 2013, 12:11:39 The only time I went to London road (posh v Plymouth, don't ask!!) there was a barge bar on the river which was quite cool. It was a roasting hot day and there was a large grassy bit where you could drink and kick a football about etc. If the weather is like this, would be my recommendation!

Only seats at the moment, which is disappointing as I love the terracing. Hopefully if they do open it up, we'll be allowed to move across.
Still not sorted my online account out though? We're going to the Charter pre-match Posh, might see you there. I emailed the Club Shop last Thursday to ask what the cut off date was for Season Ticket holders to claim their seats for the Torquay game. This is the reply I got: "Please find below answers to your questions. Cut off date is Friday 2nd for season ticket holders. Season tickets will be ready from next Wednesday. Kind regards Clare Scarth Head of Retail & Ticketing" Title: Re: Season Tickets Post by: stfc11 on Monday, July 29, 2013, 14:58:53 Anyone heard any more about this? You get an actual ticket for the Torquay game, and I was told last Friday that season tickets would be avaliable later this week, so I'm guessing Wednesday/Thursday. I thought I would make a quick telephone call to the Club to reserve my season ticket seat for the Torquay game, How could I have been so naive? Eventually got through to a pleasant lad in the new ticket agency but things then started getting confused because his computer was showing a different block number to that shown on my season ticket in recent years. I said that shouldn't make any difference as the Row and Seat Number were the important bits. A subsequent call to the Club Shop confirmed that the block numbers in the side stands have changed since last season. It used to be so much easier when Dave and his side-kick were on the end of the phone.
Anyway, for anyone else who is waiting for their season ticket, the girl in the Club Shop said that those for the DRS haven't been received yet. She recommended that I leave it until Saturday or next Monday before calling in to pick mine up! Title: Re: Season Tickets Post by: Batch on Wednesday, July 31, 2013, 11:01:01 Tweet from today, no mention of the DRS not being received (yet!):

It must have got better then cos my missus was down there this morning to pick up our eldest's away shirt and she reckoned folks were waiting 2 hours or more. Of course this could have been her laying it on thick. Still seems a bit daft, to not release STs until pretty much last minute (suggests there was some kind of problem in getting them done we haven't been told about) and then release them on the same day as the away shirt and have both sets of folk turn up at the club shop. Always going to be a bit of a car crash that, wasn't it? Poor planning at best.Title: Re: Season Tickets Post by: Batch on Friday, August 2, 2013, 16:43:02 Thanks for the queue updates, I took pity on the Mrs and told her she could go tomorrow instead :)

People were trying to buy merchandise, collect season tickets or just buy Torquay tickets and all in the same queue. Took about 30 minutes to get to the front of the queue, then the problems started. Tried to collect four st, all purchased together and sitting together but for some reason all the tickets were located in different locations (in shop) and envelopes with the names on in another location. Must have taken me 15 minutes to get the tickets and then to purchase Torquay tickets. Guy stood beside me had got his st but he had to join my queue to get his cup tickets!! It really was organised chaos, but I don't really know what else they could have done as some of the cards had not arrived until late yesterday. Marc Isaacs was helping out in the shop and Steve Murrall and Jed were there talking to people in the queue. Had a chat with Jed afterwards, heard some interesting revelations and found out who Fredi was - and the reason she is no longer working at STFC!!

No, I think they were furious that someone has fucked up:1) Season tickets not available until the day before the season starts 2) Made available on same day as away shirt launches 3) Ticket office merged with club shop 4) Still people getting Torquay tickets = wholly avoidable congestion. Not surprised people were pissed off if they caught up in that. I know there's plenty of times when people are whinging for the sake of it, but this was a problem entirely of the club's making. Presumably caused primarily by whatever fuck-up it was made the season tickets so late. I'm being generous in assuming that was caused by a fuck-up and not just a complete lack of planning. So I hope this helps someone.
If you haven't already registered with the new ticketing system its dead easy. On the new ST cards there is a "client reference number". Have this handy and: - Go to ticketing website. - Select login from the site (my account) - Under the email/password boxes is an "activate my account" in red. Click it. - Wang in your reference number/surname and press "find my account" - Hey presto, your details will be displayed - complete the missing details/password and you should be done. You can also add family and friends to your network which should allow you to "buy tickets on their behalf". This can be done from "my account". You need either their registered email address or their client reference number/surname. I've added my son (it works for junior reds at last!) but quite how it works for actual purchasing of tickets I've no idea since we got our Torquay tickets from the club shop. The site is quite temperamental, sometimes clicking "my account" causes a scripting error! I now have 15 loyalty points too. I'm going to spend them on Leon Clarke. ---------- Incidentally I had opened account before I got my ST. I am not sure how I linked my ST, other than - My online account number and season ticket "client reference number" did not match and I could not purchase season ticket restricted seats (Shrews). - I re-entered my address in "my account"/"details" as a mate said yesterday that it was this that caused his ST to be linked to his account when he registered . - I logged out. - I performed the "activate account" instructions above. - My online account number now matches my ST number, I can see my season ticket details on the first page after login. Things I don't know: I added my son to "my network". I previously activated his account using a different email address from my account - I do not know if activation of his account was mandatory before being able to add him. - I do not think you would be able to use the same email address on two different accounts. ------------------------------ Think this will be good when they fix the bugs (up to the point I'm deemed not loyal enough for a big away day ticket:)) Title: Re: Season Tickets Post by: pauld on Wednesday, August 7, 2013, 22:04:03 Cheers Batch. Been putting that off, and just buying tickets the old fashioned way so far (my experience of the bloke from Ticketmaster trying to work out which of the 3 or 4 versions of "me" he could see on his system were actually linked to my ST when buying Spurs tickets put me off). But I may brave it now you've ploughed a furrow for the rest of us to follow!
Title: Re: Season Tickets Post by: Abrahammer on Wednesday, August 7, 2013, 22:20:15 Any idea how the loyalty points thing works?
Guessing you get a load for a season ticket and then additional points for away games, single home games if you aren't a ST holder. Title: Re: Season Tickets Post by: Batch on Wednesday, August 7, 2013, 22:28:58 I think its like tiger tokens. Not sure how many you need for a glass.
Seriously I think purchases through the club site = points. But not seen a definition of what the points mean. Jed or Steve started to talk about (I think) purchasing through affiliate links earning points. But they weren't clear on it, and you'd need to work out whether it was worth it v Quidco/Topcashback.
