TBF to McCrory...the Hoddle speculation is nothing to do with him and his denial should be final.

I'm not entirely sure of the merits of considering somebody who last time you passed over to employ Kmac. There are other managers who may be in different situations now, why just go for someone who wasn't good enough before?

If Hoddle is interested it would be lunacy of the higest order not to consider him!

I would think that the only reason Hoddle is not being considered is entirely down to his wage demands which I imagine would be fairly large.

I was going to say its likely Hoddle is going to want his own members of staff. Having to work with Lee Power might not be something that Glenn is willing to do.

I don't think discussions would have got far enough for them to even state the relationship between prospective manager and Power, as soon as Hoddle says I want XXX amount that could well scare Jed off I feel.

Haven't a clue why people who are kickin up a stink about the spurs link up are creaming themselves over hoddle - his appointment would just embed that further, or we'd just end up a front for his academy.

Add to that he's been out of British football for what, ten years since wolves? Where he hardly set the world alight. Nostalgia is all well and good, but hoddle is probably the worst of the major names linked.

Others strongly linked are mainly Sherwood, Ferdinand and Ramsey - not sure how Hoddle can be worst of the bunch when he is the only one of them who has managed!
