Totally A-OK people, very welcoming, despite the mis-givings I had about the place. Got bought a pint by a random Scotsman, offered plentiful advice on campsites by a hard-drinking trio of Welshman, thorough sense of bon-homie. Of course there was a few raggedy cauliflower eared areas near the centre, mostly immigrant inhabited, but the outskirts areas westwards, Sketty in particular, looked pleasing on the eye with a nice vivacious feel about them. Hardly any place I've been with a "reputation" is nearly as bad as it's claimed.
