Willie Gros was pretty well regarded at Killie but fell foul of the manager when he didn't follow orders in his last match for them (sounds like Kerrouche and PDC at Rovers).

He is a solidly built strong and fast striker but doesn't have a great eye for a goal, is still young at 21 though and did well for Killie in their U20 team last year scoring a few times. Most of his appearances were as sub.

Might be the cheap pacey front man option we could do with, might not be, thats the beauty of pre season trials, some you win some you lose.

We have has some crackers in the past on trial that didn't sign for us and went on to better things, Roger Boli, Bernard Tchutang and Eugene Dadi are 3 I remember.

Johann Arquin would've been awesome as well had he not got injured.

Done well for Notts County the last couple of years.

Jed said awhile back that the club are looking to set up an U21 team, so I don’t see any problem in taking a few non-league or youth cast offs on to develop and sit on the fringes of the team.
I think people are getting carried away that these players will be regular starters next season.

can't see a club cutting it's cloth having a u21 side along with a youth and first team.
