Only difference here is that Macclesefield are promising a run-out at some point - 5 minutes at the end of an early round FA Trophy fixture that's already decided, where's the harm?

If it helps the club from going into admin that's fine, The problem is it could open the door and pave the way for clubs to abuse the rule. I doubt the governing bodies would allow it to but it could become almost farcical if it got out of hand.
