Title: Michael Timlin Post by: wokinghamred on Wednesday, June 5, 2013, 19:56:29 A SOUTHEND United footballer has been sentenced to jail after supplying false details to avoid speeding fines.
Michael Timlin was sentenced to 84 days behind bars this afternoon, June 5, after pleading guilty to three counts of perverting the course of justice. He also admitted to driving 74mph on the A127 which has a limit of 50mph and received four points on his licence and a £80 fine at Basildon Crown Court. I guess thats why newspapers are going extinct !;) Title: Re: Michael Timlin Post by: ronnie21 on Wednesday, June 5, 2013, 20:20:05 This makes me smile, he pleaded guilty and is sent to jail, how many times do I read in the Adver of people being caught driving with no licence or insurance - and the punishment, a fine (which they proably won't pay) and x number of points on their licence, which is non-existent anyway. And sometimes it is not the first time they have been caught.
